The xmas special (which was on on Christmas Eve or something?) was the last. Evar. Personally I found having Cannon or Ball (whichever one it was) playing his father didn't come off. However in general I think this had actually developed into decent late-ish on a Friday night fayre. One or two gags could be a bit cringeworthy, but in general the writing was probably better than an awful lot atm; Lee Mack can deliver a line whatever you think of him; and his flatmate is good for eye candy. Timm Vine a bit underused and the Miranda woman/cleaner can be a bit hit and miss, but in general I'd have said it had moved up to 6.25/10 for the last series and had legs.
