Jades premature death very sad, but why do the Sun feel the need to print a picture of her Mum at Jades grave. My immediate thought is how low will people stoop to squeeze the l;ast few quid out of this situation, which may be really unfair.

This is nothing. Jade has been booked to appear on Most Haunted in the new year.

Front page memorial to all troops killed in Afghanistan would be far more appropriate - don't buy the rag, never have done, never will do. Rarely even glance at the front page.

More people buy it than any other paper. Who are these fools?

Don't see why the Sun is singled out for criticism. How many times has the Daily Express printed a picture of Lady Di on the front page in the last 10 years?
Report STEPTOES YARD • December 24, 2009 9:10 AM GMT
Agree on that too. However not sure lady di and jade goody a good comparison

I get the paper every day, i thought this mornings photo was quite moving.
Although the focus of the story was on the fact that this will be Jane Goody's mother's first Christmas without Jane Goody, it was also a solemn reminder that it will be everybody's first Christmas without Jane Goody.

I think the message here is that sometimes in life we don't know how good our goody's are until our good goody's are gone.

Steptoe, they are a perfect comparison mate. Both were women in the public eye who died earlier leaving children. Anything further based on their profile is meaningless in this situation imo.

lady di and jade goody had quite a lot in common....both attention seeking media junkies
Report Marxist-Leninist • December 24, 2009 9:44 AM GMT
Goody was a vestal virgin in comparison with the Queen of Tarts

The only reasons these papers put these photos on the front page, is to further manipulate the minds of their readers.

why do people read such rubbish papers,i will stick to the daily star and daily sport for a more intellectual read.
Report Manchester Untied Dave • December 24, 2009 11:35 AM GMT
I agree. I also find the paucity of Wrestling coverage rather disconcerting in the Sun.

its bought by daily mail readers who have grown up
