M11 was clear of snow yesterday, just 5 miles of road works at junctiion 8/9 wit speed restricted to 50 m.p.h.
Off the end of the M11 and on the A14 to Huntingdon was also clear.
Turned across the Fens to Chatteris, March then Wisbech, all main roads clear.
We turn off between Wisbech and Kings Lynn, B-roads are passable, itl't only when you come off these to isolated villages like ours that you get compacted snow that resembles an ice rink.

Going via Huntingdon is about 12 miles further, but with a lot less roundabouts, and the straighter roads give you more chance of overtaking lorries.
Tel, a Sat Nav will probably send you via Ely. Going via Huntingdon is about 12 miles further, but with a lot less roundabouts, and the straighter roads give you more chance of overtaking lorries.
We came home at a steady 70 on the M11 and A14, and a comfortable 60 across the Fens, only 2 cameras in 40 miles.
Been up and down the A10 a few times, pain in the arse for overtaking.
