Yes, but it was 37 years ago,and I can`t remember much about it now.

I rate Croatia as one of the most beautiful countries in Europe. Didn't go to Split, but fairly near ( one year ago). I'd say fill your boots.

went to Pula i think it was called on the Adriatic Coast about 10 years ago. On the bus journey from the airport part of the country was still very run down but that was a long time ago, but when we got to the resort it was lovely. Everything was dirt cheap, the weather was great (we went around easter time) and we had a great time. I would recommend it to anybody :D
