We used to breed labradors and have always had one as a pet. My sister had one of my chocolates off of me and unfortunately, at 8 months, had developed chronic hip displacia. She took him to Torringtons Vets near Halifax and Andy Torrington, the orthaepedic surgeon said that according to their records, of the labradors that had needed hip replacements, 39% were chocs, 35% Yellow and 26 Black.
Now considering that the ration of Black labs to chocolate labs is SOMETHING like 3-1 thats a high percentage

My beloved brown one is Epileptic, Diabetic and has all the hip problems started since whe was 8 years old.. would do anything for her, but if had to do it over again, it wouldnt be a chocolate one

saw video though, cute, I had a dog, but he stayed with the ex 3 years ago, never mind
anyway, I must add that, you didn't leave a space between "snow" and the smiley which is why I couldn't find the video
cheers though
p.s. I've always wondered, do dogs feel the cold on their paws in the snow? I saw lots of dogs when I walked to the wine shop an hour ago, and they all seemed to be enjoying themselves

This year's M&P Christmas card features a photo of Max and Paddy, my Springer Spaniels, in the snow in February :)
The boys love the snow. Back in 2003-04 (their first full winter) we had four big snowfalls in six weeks in Durham, and they had a brilliant time.
