Put it out to get emptied yesterday morning,and the thing has dissapeared.

No doubt someone had a few sips last night and thought they got lucky and chatted your bin up and took it home with them :^0

Ps - Stick poster's up near your house , missing bin you can't sleep cause of worry, family pet (the bin) :^0

happened to me, second time a got a tiny one left as a swap..

Putting a big giant sticker of your house number on it seems to be a deterrant

my own theory - a wheelie bin filled with compacted snow (simply jump up and down on the snow) is then turned upside down, rather in the fashion of a sand castle and forms a solid body for a snowman.

No snowmen round here, snow too powdery due to low temperatures.

No giant snowballs either :(

Got some asylum seekers in the locality who keep putting there sh@te in my bin they have travelled all the way from Somalia to provide me with this service! I have had a word with the councils COMMUNITY LIASON OFFICER and suggested that as my taxes and community charge had provided my African cousins with a £300K SEMI DET that the least we could do was provide them with a dustbin to go with the cash they send back to Somalia every week, the food they never seem to finish (cos its in my friggin dustbin) and the car they use to cruise around in,the ** told me she found me sarcastic and that they do not have dustbins where they come from,I am awaiting a community awareness pack from her supervisor. FFS

Just to report,i have sent my lad out to have a peak in local driveways.

They get nicked all the time..usually gypoes but i've heard albanians and similair types will cruise for empties and lob them in the back of their vans etc.
