Just checked a 7 day half term break at Centerparcs for the family and then compared it with all inclusive package holidays in Canaries and a few villa breaks there too.
Cheaper to go abroad. I know we are all badgered to watch greenhouse gasses, so make these things cheaper and perhaps I wouldn't have to go so far away.

All the hotels, B&B's, holiday camps are mortgaged upto the hilt.
I once got a deal on these caravan holidays they push on TV but the things are not too comfortable. The single beds are tiny, the bedrooms are cold unless you get the expensive CH ones and the entertainment and food are mediocre.
Glad I got the deal, but can't seem me doing it again.

one of the luckiest escapes of my life was because a caravan was cold ..
when in late teens...Me + a mate used to get leathered up and head off on the bike to Seaside Resorts every Friday night , and pick up
a couple of birds .
One weekend we picked 2 girls up ...who took us back to their caravan on a park , about 5am whilst asleep ...I must have leaned back and touched the ice cold wall of the caravan ..It jolted me wide awake ..it felt like cold steel ..such was the fright I was 100% awake ...I heard some movement and scuffles outside around the park ..
Upon looking out the caravan window I saw (what turned out to be 9 guys) I woke the 2 girls + my mate to show them these suspicious characters mooching around ..
The girls shouted out OMG its our boyfriends down from GLASGOW !!..
If they catch you here they will carve you ..and slice us ...
In those days I would be willing to take 9 to 2 odds against a lot of places , but not Glasgow Lads ..they are as tough as the Pool ..
we dressed in 30 seconds , outside pushed bike away round a few vans and then started it and roared away ...hopefully they never connected us to the 2x Girls ... :D :D
If any Glasgow Lads read this, and remember the incident , substitute
