My problem with Betfair is that it appears that they don't appear to value their "loyal" custom base very highly.
Despite several years of almost daily punting, to a middling level, thus paying a not inconsiderable amount in commission, i, like the vast majority of people on here, i suspect, have NEVER received, even the suggestion of any sort of "loyalty sweetner", however minimal.
Then on browsing the various forums i come across on "casino" on Nov 12th from Betfair.

Then check out the poor sod "never play casino" in the early hours of Dec 17th and imagine how much this unfortunate did and how much Betfair give a sh1te.
However to be fair to them they do provide a link to Gamcare, which is nice of them - perhaps they do care after all!

we're all in that boat - why do you expect a loyalty bonus from a monopoly?
well a christmas hamper at the very least lots of folk got it i lost out
Have half a dozen accounts and let them rest for 3 months each, you get loads of free bets.
i don't really expect a loyalty bonus - but the occasional recognition of your patronage with the offer of a couple of tickets to a race meeting they're sponsoring or something similar wouldn't kill them, would it?

I remember the first year they stopped giving out those blue and beige diaries and we got an email saying we're getting an online diary instead.

But what did you do with the diary? Mine went straight in the bin. I have a diary that I managed to buy myself.

About 1 year ago or so i got a phone call from them asking me to fill in this questionaire they will send by e mail. They said so they knew what i like etc so they could take me out, as i was a good and well valued customer etc etc etc
Anyway got the email, filled it out, took about 20 mins or so, then never heard anything back.
Guess the real big spenders dont fill out such things so get mugs like me to waste my time doing it for them.
Next time they phone me to fill this in that in etc they can go whistle.

the more significant point was the fact they push these insidious cr@ppy casino games knowing only the half-witted would play them and don't give a monkeys to the consequences of these fools doing their cobblers
they just phoned me and said they seen my reply on here and a hamper will be sent first class post and they hope it will be with me in time for christmas thanks Bert
