For me probably The Wedding Present in Wrexham, small venue and met Gedge, but saw Shack last night for the first time and they come a close second.

Without doubt The Sounds at the Electric Ballroom. Got bought the tickets by the ex and for that reason alone feared the very worst, but they were something else. Surely the best eighties band of the noughties, and the lead singer is mad as a box of frogs.
The Manics - could change on Saturday though as I'm seeing Biffy Clyro.
Can I ask anyone who saw The Specials a question please.
Anyone know if they will tour again ?
If so what was the crowd behaviour like.
May seem like a daft question but I was around in 78 when they were first on the scene .
I have an 8 year old who is absolutely mad on them, and I wondered if it would be suitable to take him , if , they tour.

Was lucky enought to see Alan Fletcher (aka Dr Karl Kennedy from neighbours) and his band a couple of years ago.That was a proper gig.

crowd impeccably behaved despite being very drunk for the most part (well i was anyway)!

Fuuny no-one seems to have mentioned the best live band ever - OASIS (Wembely Stadium) or even Kasabian (Kentish Town Forum), best of the year NAP
A big rap too to a 73yr old guy and his backing band who put on a faultless performance at manc arena, Leonard Cohen.I went along with me girlfriend on her behalf thinking i aint gonna fancy this but was amazed how good he was.
