somewhere to stay near Gloucester - advice.

Sunday night. I fancy a proper pub with a room. I have work in the morning and just like the idea of a few pints with a paper and up to bed in a good country pub. Any ideas?

Chelters is only 15 mins down the road.

A much nicer place than Gloucester.

The Queens hotel in Montpellier is always full of clunge.

what about the new inn in the middle of gloucester? historic old coaching inn with about half a dozen bars!

i think u'll find all those places have closed down! p.s. i think the new inn has some very cosy bars - its not a rowdy place

This would be on the edge of your 30 minutes but is a very good pub with excellent food. In the country and all that.

It's close to my folks so I know it well.
