There's thousands of not-funny uncles, all around the country, who could come up with that $hite. Every family has one.
Nothing remotely clever or inventive about it, just a nobhead who has a few impressions but no decent material.
People tell me he used to be funny but he is, without doubt, the most embarrassing, cringeworthy and least funny 'comedian' I've ever come across. Go to any wedding and you will find at least 4 pi$$ed middle aged blokes churning out the same material all night but probably with a bit more intelligence.
Even those comedians that are consistently not funny have the odd thing that they do that is funnyish or clever. Freddy Starr is just too fecking thick to even manage that. He just churns out b0ll0cks that any old mug could come out with and it seems that people were willing to swallow it in the seventies because he pulled a few faces.
