Without wishing to spoil the (disappointing) end for other people, Melanie stitches up the wife by leaving her 'farewell card' from wifey in the hubby's study (which sort of implies a 'love' relationship has been going on behind hubby's back), and we are led to believe that she has stiched up the kiddy's fledgling piano career into the bargain.
