Now i purposely never watch ITV, and i mean never but Sky unforunately has adverts. I purposely NEVER buy or use things that are advertised. It simply smacks of big company, big profits, big overheads and that they are a magnet for losers. My current two hated adverts are "Go compare", (aaaarghhhhhh) and the silly Dell advert that has the cursory black and Chinese character and whose sole point is to show us we can buy their computers with a coloured lid!!!! Idiots! I accept that some of them are funny/witty/clever such as the Meercats or the Churchill dog but i REALLY, REALLY do not want to see it 25 times a day. Its like you are poking me with a stick and for that reason i will not use your products.
I was just about to blow my dough on bet 365's bingo, but then their advert came on with six/seven people dancing about with a numbered ball on their head.
Show me the interface, rather than some Bring on the Wall-dressed mugs having a fecking dance with each other. ]:)

The fat Nolan sister in the 'Iceland' advert is having what looks like a xmas party, and there must be about 20 adults there.
I've invented a new game called 'spot the foster parents' :^0
At the end there are 2 or 3 black or asian kids in camera shot, but I've seen it twice, and can't see any black or asian adults.

Now that I've got the Sky+ box I tend to record most stuff then play back, whizzing through the adverts. It makes me wonder how much time I've squandered by staring at adverts over the years. However, I do catch the ads now and again and Go Compare is the one that makes me seethe most.

The one about a bank, the kids look like they're made of wood, the trains comes into town and leaves in the same direction after going through a loop.
I turn it off as music drives me mad.

said it before, the most PC advert has got to be the Sky/Microsoft one advertising the Xbox and streaming movies.
1) White young good looking guy.
2) Black young good looking guy.
3) Token good looking Female (to prove women can do this sort of thing)
seating arrangment carefully considered.
Female, White Guy, Black Guy.
Cant have the female in the middle as it might look like she enjoys a threesome with the two lads, cant have her sitting on the end next to the black guy? jesus we dont want to start a riot do we, no better to have her sat at the end next to white guy.

on the flip side, the Specsavers ad where Postman Pat breaks his glasses and then proceeds to demolish the village with his van makes me laugh
Shame I haven't got bad eyesight, I'd be straight down to Specsavers otherwise

bigH the problem with that ad is when he tries to put vegatables through the letterbox, surely only his eyesight is affected, or has he suddenly lost all feeling in his hands!

Some of the ads annoy me so much, I deliberately won't buy the products. (tbh I try to avoid spending on things from big corporations anyway). Woolworths was a case in point, with that VERY annoying voiceover woman (Virgin use this voice too), and look what happened to them :)

Tommy Walsh can feck off with his van insurance. "The last thing you wanna do after a hard days work is spend hours sorting out your van insurance". Im not really ar$ed Tommy as it doesnt take hours and its only one day a year.
Why do some insurance ads have the line "We arent on comparison websites". Why the feck not, as it makes me thinks your prices are rubbish compared to others then.

Those Maltesers ads, with women doing v lame and unfunny things, then laughing with their pals and "the lighter way to enjoy chocolate" or whatever. Maddeningly lame. Ditto the Diet Coke ad, with women doing unfunny things, sticking their tongues out, pulling faces, etc and you are meant to think that is the fun you have when your drinking Diet Coke!
