Hi

I'm a bit of a technophobe with limited knowledge when it comes to computers...

I'm looking to buy a budget PC. I will be using the computer to surf the net, use betfair, watch movies, download and store movies, music, etc. Thus I'm not looking for a souped-up gaming machine.

Should this do the trick?

with this monitor

I like the idea of having a 24 inch plus monitor for watching movies, two betfair screens, etc.

Any obvious problems with this set-up or is it good value for money?

TIA :)

I'd be wary of buying a PC made by the Leeds Utd reserve keeper.

But he has so much spare time on his hands?

Spending too much if you want a budget machine imo.

Computer spec from 10 years ago could run the internet with ease.

You could run Jodrell Bank with that machine.

Thanks Ovalman. Probably the least amount of money I've spent on a computer/laptop (probably because they're getting cheaper?).
