Been introduced in the betting for the Martin Pipe by PP as well, and may have a decent mark for that race.

Interesting Catch,thanks,
See hes entered in the Deloitte this weekend. |

bunk of early wins deloitte an win whatever race he runs in at chelts
|

Fingers crossed it's Bravissimo, really impressed by it's debut win, I'd go as far to say I thought his hurdling technique was exceptional for his first run, however I can ultimately see a race like the MP being his ultimate target as there's no money for him in the novice races so my guess is he may run at the week-end and have a nice school round or he will miss the race and run in another low key one in the next fortnight.
He's very much under the radar and unlike horses such as invitation only is sure to get a much better rating to go off of. |

Looking forward to seeing Bacardys tomorrow too. Some of the best bumper form from last year and Ballyandy represented last years bumper form well today.
Around 14/1 tomorrow is big, and I think the extra 2f will help him out too. |
By:
Yeh,i think probably Neptune is his distance at this stage.
Nice boost yesterday as you say Chief. Does look like others in the yard preferred though with the jockey bookings. Just hoping for a nice run which gets him in one of the novices at Chelt. |
By:
Well well well!!
|
By:
well done budd hope ya was on today as well
|
By:
nope
|
By:
WD budd, I'd also be interested in Bunk Off Erly in the Supreme dropping back on better ground, travelled like a dream into it.
|
By:
Boom!
Last years bumper horses look like a really good crop. |
By:
was on small but backed 3 in the race so ,no cigar more a cigarello
|
By:
Just pleased it looks like I have a runner.....be Neptune I would think.
Was a tricky race Foyles, no shame in a cigarello mate. |

Bunk off early could be a big player in Supreme Duffy |
By:
Trainer Hinting at the Albert Bartlett for Bacardys I just read
|
By:
Seems like a good choice to me. Haven't backed him for Cheltenham, but this fella looks a good stayer to me.
It would be AB or Neptune, I wouldn't consider the Supreme. I think Death Duty in the AB is definitely gettable. |
By:
Saturnus did not run his race - he was not right. As such I'm not convinced by Bacardys' win. I also do not believe the Supreme is the best race for him - too pacy - unless connections think he is a match for Melon; the Neptune looks super-competitive, maybe the Albert Bartlett that is where he'll end up, if he stays the distance.
|
By:
Bacardys beat Brelade further than Saturnas did so the previous time so knocking Bacardys win over Saturnas not running his race does not wash
|
By:
Well no way would I knock that.
Hes won well over what is probably too short a distance for him. Neptune or AB are both fine as far as I am concerned having backed him on here for all three novices. Both races have good favourites but hes earned his place in whichever race they choose. That's really all you want when taking big prices on here. Anything else is a bonus. |
By:
Taken the 10's NRNB for the Albert Bartlett - for once Mullins doesn't have anything near the head of the Neptune market, so he could easily go there, but that's the beauty of nrnb.
|
By:
Did Mullins say something today?
Looks like Neptune according to prices on here. |
By:
He said probably Neptune.

has anyone escaped unscaythed this season on the ante post betting ,i have had only 7 or 8 bets this time due to mass entries and 3 of them bit the dust early doors ...............brutal !
|
By:
So far so good with my hundreds of bets [thats an exaggeration by the way its more like about 30] and only have 2 non runners. Though after looking through my portfolio file i can count about another 4 which will be running in other races or still entered but likely to miss as turned out not to be as good as first thought when placing said wager before their respective first outings for season
|
By:
Worst year for placing AP bets that i've seen!! Getting worse every year. The days of having 16/20/33-1 slips are over. AP racing has dried up - Even for Chelts. Look at 'Common or garden' AP prices on a Tues/Wed then see the price of the same horse at 11am on the day of the race. Bless.

Each to their own King Selassie I, each to their own, of course when you join the party in the final hours everyone and everything is tired and sloppy
|
By:
I think this horse could go off fav for the Neptune.
|
By:
If NW and FO are stll running he wont surely?, but of course we have the mullins factor,as we see with Limini, so yes Catch I guess it could happen.
Would not have seen that coming when I placed my bet!!! |
By:
I can see both FO and Neon Wolf drifting myself budd and going off around 4/1 each. They have very little form of substance and both are priced purely on hype.
Barcardys placed in two and won one of the 3 Spring Festival Championship Bumpers which is seriously impressive, and but for tipping up on his hurdling debut, he would be 3 from 3 over the smaller obstcales, one of which was a Grade 1 which has proved to be a very good Cheltenham trial for years. He should be fav already for me! His form is in a completely different world to the other two, and he already has Festival form. Once its confirmed Ruby rides him in this race, I expect him to collapse. |
By:
I backed this just before it ran at Christmas for the Neptune only. Very speculative, and have had several false dawns, was delighted when he won the Deloitte, but then hopes dashed when Mullins said Albert Bartlett straight after!
I still think that despite Finians Oscar and Neon Wolf being owned and trained independently, that they may try and avoid each other (in pocket talking terms ideally FO Neptune, NW Supreme!). If that's the case it's one less for this lad to beat. I think the extra three furlongs will improve him even more. |
By:
DBS... he said Neptune most likely this week though?
|
By:
Absolutely and I was delighted yesterday when I saw that. Although as always there's some trepidation with regard to what is said and where he actually ends up.
|
By:
Id also say the collapse in his price this week suggests Neptune as well!
I think if they are sending Augusta Kate and Penhill to the AB, which it souds like they are, then Bacardys becomes Rubys ride and their first choice for the Neptune myself. I still think lets Dance will go for the Neptune, but if she doesnt, and they stick with the Mares Novice with her, then they look pretty light in this race.... maybe because they are so confident in Bacardys |
By:
Yes I agree you cant trust everything he says, but looking at the horses and the likely split, I think it all makes sense. They must be tempted to take DD on again with AK after last time.
|
By:
I'm hoping for Lets Dance to stay in the Novice Mares (more pocket talk), however even if she doesn't ,I can't see what else Ruby would ride in this race.
Lots of Champion Bumper also rans have run well at next years festival. Al Ferof, The New One etc... |
By:
I'm certainly more confident than I was a few days ago. Agree on Augusta Kate, toying with a few quid on her now she seems confirmed for the AB.
