Move to McGuigan working out well, and looks a completely different fighter.

Won very comfortably on Saturday. wonder if he'll manage to unify the division

Think that's the plan over next couple 18m or so and move up to heavy?

Won't really matter what's going on, as it's not like they need crowds.

It'll be interesting to see whether they can persuade Mairis Briedis to hang about at cruiserweight and defend against Okolie. there were rumours he was moving up to heavyweight imminently

since Usyk moved up to HW, Briedis is the king of the division

Think Fastcar was saying he wanted that fight, but might be a negative freeroll for Briedis to fight Okolie.

Yeah it's definitely a bad idea for Briedis. He should head to heavyweight and chase a big money fight

Eddie said Kalle rang him laughing 'they calling him out', and Eddie told him that he actually wants to fight him, and thinks he'll spark him.

Think he's the toughest one and know he's not hanging around the division forever so do it now. Eddie basically said if they can get the money right it might be a goer.

Heard Eddie talking about it on Saturday but I'm not sure it'll happen. Briedis would be a bit of a fool to take it too

In all likelihood if it does happen Okolie will spark him. he's like an octopus

Just listened to Dave Allen's interview with Kugan, and he said as much.

Sparred him a few years back and got beat up, couldn't touch him, lol.

Remembered seeing him in 2011 at some amateur comp, and Okolie was fighting super-heavy, and then a few years later had obv lost some timber Laugh
