I didn't think he'd get to him so quickly tbh. I thought Booth would have conditioned him to go for 12 rounds

best chance was safe box and move style for 12 rounds off a big conditioning base

I said a long time ago that Avanesyan would flatten Kelly. And it gives me no pleasure (well, that's a lie, quite a lot of pleasure) to be proved right.

Kelly is a fast twitch fighter who isn't heavy handed. dunno what you can do with that because he'll always gas if you really pile the pressure on

"It's always tough for the loser. Sometimes you come across a guy who will not be denied, tonight that was Avanesyan.

"Kelly had a wonderful camp, was in the shape of his life, but Avanesyan wouldn't be denied. He was too tough.

"We saw an elite welterweight against a really good prospect who can become world class.

"But he was outhustled, outfought.

"You could see Kelly unravel. Adam Booth did a great job throwing in the towel.

"Avanesyan should get a world title shot. Shawn Porter, Terence Crawford, Errol Spence, Danny Garcia?"

Wise knew, amazed how he went from looking good to gassed so quickly though tbh.

same. I think it was because he was loading up alot in the first 2 rounds, thinking he was some big puncher all of a sudden. it meant that he depleted himself even quicker than usual
