Mundo Smith is getting no respect at all !
Read a couple of American previews and they were talking about who Canelo will be fighting in May, they just see Callum as a tune up  | ||||||||||

I think it's hard for Callum Smith to win because it really is true what they say about the judges.
Don't forget one judge had it a draw for Canelo against Mayweather (where Mayweather battered him), and Canelo was up on the cards before knocking out Kovalev(did very little IIRC). I can't see Smith dominating enough to win a decision. I don't see either getting knocked out, so I believe there is some value still in the fight going the distance. Smith is possibly the one boxer who can actually keep Canelo away all night long with that telescopic jab. If he doesn't box sloppily (as he did against Ryder), I believe a 12 rounder is the likeliest outcome. I see it as almost a repeat of the Danny Jacobs fight. So that's where my money is. I don't get as much return as the Canelo decision, but obv I have the unlikely Smith decision, and the draw too; just in case Smith outboxes him with the jab, and they actually give it to him (lol), or make it a draw. | ||||||||||

Yeah, I had Kov up by 4 rounds!
Also Cotto won 3 or 4 clear rounds against him, and there were a few close ones besides, I think the scores were like 119-109. Basically he is given any round that the opponent does not win by a mile (and even some where they do !) | ||||||||||

don't think any other boxer drifts as much as canelo in running. nearly every fight. definitely a lay to back at this price. he's beatable - he's lost a fair few times already although his record will show just the one defeat, but unless he's knocked spark out he will be awarded the win here. hoping smith can use his size and make a fight of it...i expect he'll fade in the later rounds and canelo will knock him out though

turns out that going to the body against Callum wasn't the one for the stoppage. he'd have got him if he'd busted his face up properly

canelo started about 1.2 on here but never drifted in running. such a one sided fight. very disappointed with smith - thought he could do better but in the end he can be only praised for his ability to take a shot unlike fielding
