Dubois is so heavy handed when the opponent is static
Report wisewords March 8, 2019 9:42 PM GMT
Liam Williams has gone up a level since he joined Dom Ingle

I know it's after-timing but I had Dubois KO in an ACCA with Liverpool and City. I wonder which one of those will let me down. Grin

Well done Des. I didn't bet on the Dubois fight. I did however get 1.67 on Liam Willians by stoppage. He's a different level since he joined Ingle

Nice one, I didn't bet on Williams this time, though I backed him when he beat Heffron last time out. Haven't had a real close look at this weekend's bouts as yet and no other bets apart from Dubois, so far.

I've never heard of Travis Reeves before. I assume another bum fed to Yarde
Report Des Pond March 8, 2019 10:06 PM GMT
Not a huge fan of Yarde, although he will probably beat Reeves easily enough.
Report Des Pond March 8, 2019 10:10 PM GMT
I don't know anything about him either, except he's 38, so Not quite the level of opponent that Yarde should be taking on at this stage
Report Des Pond March 8, 2019 10:19 PM GMT
No stream here, so can't comment. I assume they are underway by now.
Report wisewords March 8, 2019 10:22 PM GMT
they are. Reeves has had some success but he's going to get stopped soon enough. It does however highlight that Yarde will come unstuck when he steps up the level of opponent
Report wisewords March 8, 2019 10:25 PM GMT
I suspect Buatsi would emphatically stop Yarde if they met now

there it is. Reeves stopped

Report Des Pond March 8, 2019 10:29 PM GMT
Buatsi is definitely a more realistic prospect, imo.

5th was it?
Report wisewords March 8, 2019 10:31 PM GMT
Yarde has impressive power, but limited boxing skills

indeed

It's been said before, but he is too muscle-bound, and doesn't have natural power or fluid movement.
Report Des Pond March 8, 2019 10:37 PM GMT
Typical stream is working now that it's finished. Sad

The movement issue is the crux of it. Way too mechanical/clunky. Will get caught so easily by skilled operators. Think Buatsi boxes his head off and stops him

Dubois sharpening up, ring craft not ready for the sharks yet but he's got time, one to follow, dubois beats Joyce btw imo
