An intriguing fight this one, the elusive and skillful Plant 17-0-0 against the powerful Jose Uzcategui from Venezuela for the IBF Title. Uzcategui 28-2-0 is favourite following his beating of a pretty much shot Andre Dirrell, having been DQ'd for a low blow in the 1st fight. I can see Plant getting himself ahead on the cards in the early stages using his jab and decent defensive skills. However, I don't think Plant has fought anyone with the power that Uzcategui posseses, and it remains to be seen if Plant's chin is up to it. If I were to pick a winner it would be Uzcategui by stoppage, after relentlessly hunting Plant down and stopping him in the 2nd half of the fight. Looking forward to this one, and good to see it on terrestrial TV.

It's a moving story, for sure. Imagine losing your baby girl. 
Wouldn't be surprised to see the odds flipping, early on, as Plant is a slick boxer, and very accomplished defence. But I think Uzcategui will eventually catch up with him.

I still think Ucategui has the power to stop plant, but a great start from Plant.
