one of my favourite fighters in action tonight. Brilliant Southpaw Regis Prograis defends his WB Interim Title against unbeaten Argentinian Velasco in Prograis's home town of New Orleans. 31 year-old Velasco is a tough guy, he is bigger than Prograis, and has a very respectable record and a fair amount of experience in fighting southpaws. However he has rarely fought outside of Argentina and tonight he is up against one of the best prospects in boxing at the moment. Prograis is a very tidy, skillful and well-schooled fighter, he carries real power in both hands, and his ring-intelligence, defence and ability to control the ring are all very good indeed. He is a great trainer, very dedicated and confident. Although Velasco is big and strong and has a great left hand, I think that we will see Prograis stepping up to the plate once again and taking the bigger man out early, just like he did to Indongo. It's not a cert, by any means, but the 16/5 for Prograis to win inside 3 rounds looks a fair bet. There is also 10/11 available for prograis in Rounds 1-6.
