Sorry, getting a bit drunk now, I'm afarid, but i fancy "Tank" Davis to win the opener comfortably. Probably by stoppage. Davis has made the weight (unlike last time) and should get back on the right trail this time.

Good first round, no messing about.

Cuellar looks decent, but Davis sems to have his sharpness back, throwing some very good left couners.

Cuellar down in the 2nd, from a body shot
Report Des Pond April 22, 2018 2:28 AM BST
seems to have recovered, though.
Report Des Pond April 22, 2018 2:30 AM BST
Cuellar down again, only a matter of time, I think.

Over, a very impressive performance from davis. Some doubts about him last time, but i think he will be very hard to beat at this weight.

Right back to his best, Davis, imo. I would back him aginst Lomachenko, tbh.

Might be a siilar back story to the next fight. Charlo, very highly rated, made slightly hard work of it last time out against Heiland, who was very obviously carrying a leg injury. Like Davis, Charlo really needs to get a convincing win against strong opposition to silence any doubters. Centeno Jnr is a slick boxer though, and Charlo will not get it all his own way, imo. personally I think his brother jermell, is slightly the better of the two. However, i expect jermall to come through and stop Centeno.

Centeno is down and out in the second. impressive finish from Charlo.

easier than I thought, tbh.

It rests on which version of Broner turns up, this one. If he's not on his game, distracted or unfit, broner will lose against the toug hand capable Vargas. If, however he is fit and motivated like davis was earlier, i would fancy him to win. You never quite know what you're going to get with Broner. However he looks relaxed and in shape so i'm putting a few quid on him.
Report Des Pond April 22, 2018 3:34 AM BST
Mmn, Broner not turned up so far.
Report Des Pond April 22, 2018 3:39 AM BST
a bit better from broner, but Vargas still in charge.
Report Des Pond April 22, 2018 3:43 AM BST
slip
Report Des Pond April 22, 2018 3:47 AM BST
Vargas still ahead on work-rate. Broner could take it if he steps it up, but not sure if he is really up for it, mentally.
Report Des Pond April 22, 2018 3:50 AM BST
Barker has Broner ahead. Not sure about that, myself.
Report Des Pond April 22, 2018 3:53 AM BST
Broner more aggressive at the end of the round, but still not doing enough.
Report Des Pond April 22, 2018 4:00 AM BST
Broner getting through at last, but is it too late?
Report Des Pond April 22, 2018 4:03 AM BST
Broner landed a beaut of a left uppercut in that last round, but vargas took it well.
Report Des Pond April 22, 2018 4:04 AM BST
another good finish to the round for Broner. Vargas is tough.
Report Des Pond April 22, 2018 4:08 AM BST
good round for vargas, that one.
Report Des Pond April 22, 2018 4:09 AM BST
I've got vargas a round ahead, but who knows?
Report Des Pond April 22, 2018 4:12 AM BST
Vargas takes it for me. Broner not active enough, particularly in the early rounds.
Report Des Pond April 22, 2018 4:16 AM BST
Majority draw. Walofs, Vargas robbed, imho. Though it was close.
