Not in the least bit surprised. He has always been a bit stocky and thickset but his body transformation to middleweight has seen him become the guy out of Fantastic Four. His neck alone is now bigger than Anne Heggarty's arrse.

Athletics and cycling get all the grief re drug taking but Boxing is out on its own imo. The sanctioning bodies don't give a toss as long as they get their money. I mean the WBA and WBC presidents have already come out in defence of Canelo Laugh And all the fuss about TUE's with Bradley Wiggins remember Mayweather got given one two weeks AFTER he had already had his transfusion Laugh And Pacquiao bounced around the ring at flyweight yet a few years later swatting Cotto like he's nothing at welterweight Laugh

On the Radio 5live podcast from Monday (still available) Buncey says that when they go to America to cover a fight they are told by people they speak to there that virtually every fighter in the top ten lists from America has a question mark against them. Seems crazy that the sport with probably potentially the most physical impact on a person is probably the most lenient.

Completely agree
Having done lots of research on doping recently I've had to accept that almost all of my heroes (especially from the early 90's onwards) were 100% on the gear.
Of course we know that they don't want to catch anybody for obvious reasons but when you know for a fact that it's impossible for anyone to compete clean (especially at Elite level) you've got to accept it for what it is,we'd be hurting ourselves if we stopped watching.
If they were serious about catching people on synthetic testosterone they would have CIR (Carbon Isotope Ratio) testing which will catch anyone who's been on synthestic testosterone in all cases last 6 months some alot longer.
If I was Bellew I would've had it written into the contract with a big penalty for Haye if he doesn't take or pass.

There is a trait that I've noticed with alot of the fighters I'm certain are dopers and it's they give the impression they can walk through walls.
Look at Golovkin ffs
A guy pointed out the difference between Golovkin fighting Amari in 2008 (25/26 years old peak testosterone) he was woeful and looked nothing winning on points.

I haven't watched all of his fights but look at the difference in Golovkin in his 30's where he has less testosterone naturally he should be declining, not morphing into a terminator who's easy to hit but just destroys everything in his path it's physically impossible naturally.

Looks like it's off. Refunds being offered for tickets. It seems that there was more than one failed test, although I think most of guessed that the "contaminated meat" thing was ballocks. Remains to be seen if GGG fights someone else (Saunders, maybe) or if it will be called off altogether.
