reading back through all the comments..it really is comedy gold. most clueless forum in history. stick to knitting lads boxing aint for you and boxing betting certainly aint for you
As Wisewords said it was obvious Haye was injured before the fight.
He does his ankle or whatever in training and so he has 2 choices....
Pull out : Kiss goodbye to the £3M he was due for the PPV , set in stone his rep as a quitter and excuse merchant , guarantee he will never get near another PPV . Need to fight every 2 months til he is 52 years old on The Dave Channel to make back that 3 mil .
Carry on: make no mention of the injury , despite being obviously unable to plant his foot when throwing from the start of the fight . Hope to maybe catch Bellew if he just stands in front of him for a while .Probably lose , but bank that 3 Mil , then maybe get a rematch for a similar amount, which if he wins , as he probably will , he will then be the comeback guy - always a good story , but still look diminished enough by the Bellew fights to appeal to Eddie for an AJ fight.
It's unbelievable the way people not even on the payroll of Eddie or Sky or lying to the public in maintaining that there was a sudden injury in the 6th round .The biggest giveaway - apart from Haye looking like sh1t from minute 1 - was when he sits on his stool after the round and no one in his corner asks what has happened , how he feels etc , because they all knew the deal before it started.

did anyone watch the Sky Sports News interview with Haye yesterday? he denied that the trip to Germany to see his doctor was anything to with his achillies, and that the full story will all come out in the future. why can't the full story come out now, exactly?

whole thing stinks so badly. if Haye was genuinely devastated at losing the fight, he wouldn't be doing Sky Sports News interviews 3 days afterwards. he would be in hiding for 3 months. he's covering his back to deflect away any criticism directed towards this joke "public fooling money making" fight

Jim Watt: days before the fight, you flew to Munich right? what was that for? Haye: that was a check up. that was completely unrelated to my right achillies. completely unrelated. and ummm, everyone assumes obviously I've gone to see a sports doctor in Munich.. so it must be something to do with that.... but it wasn't, it was something completely different. in years to come, maybe people will find out why I went there. but it had nothing to do with that. so, it was a complete anomaly. it was one of those freak things that happen in sport.. for no reason. I bounced up and down a million and one times, but for some reason when I bounced up and down.. it just snapped. it's just one of those miracle things that happen.
thoughts??? do we believe him?

The injury was flagged up the day before the fight. I was aware of it but, like a lot of other people, didn't realise how serious it was. I don't think that Haye should have been allowed to box like that. And I didn't lose much money. Many people did lose a lot of money, and they have Haye's dishonesty to thank. And the BBBC (Board of Control, my arse!)

Needed that cash bad and now has a possible re-match on the table
Got to admire his business skills
Thought he could knock people out with jabs though
