Middleweight WBA international belt
Jack arnfield V Mick Hall
Met before over 3 rounds, on Prizefighetr Arnfield got a controversial decision. Hall feels aggrieved, thought he won it. Didn't see it myself, but Arnfield is fairly strong fav to win again, this time over 12 rounds.Maybe worth a small lay to trade?

Arnfield has a bif height and reach advantage, and perhaps more stamina, hence the favourite over 12 rounds, Who knows?

Tentative start, hall looks the tidier, more composed, better jab.

Hall is ungainly, poor footwork. Should be a routine win for Arnfield, if hall can't close the gap and catch him clean.

Better round from Hall, a bit of success, but not enough. never been beyond 6 rounds before, hall.

Pretty comfortable win for Arnfield. Unless Hall can pull something out of the bag in the last 2 rounds. Doesn't look likely, though.

ITV are gonna quickly become disillusioned with their own boxing coverage.

For 20 years they have focused on soaps ,trashy dramas and reality shows and they are just clueless about sport. The whole ethos of ITV is about getting women and gays to watch.

Every now and then some ITV exec notices that there is big money to be made in Sport but , as they don't get a sport budget to buy top class stuff  ,and don't actually know anything about sport ,they end up with 2nd rate events (that they still pay a big price for)

They did it with ITV Digital : Premier League football was huge business for Sky and so ITV figure 'this Football League is English football too isn't it ? , so we can buy that and get huge ratings as well !' They paid £315M for a 3 year deal . It was 25% of what Premier League rights were worth but had less than 10% of the audience . When ITV Digital went bust Sky stepped in and bought the Football League rights for £95M over 4 years , emphasizing how dumb the ITV bid had been.

I expect the same has happened with boxing now .

Someone at ITV sees the huge numbers Joshua PPVs do and they thing 'So theres this british boxer guy and millions are paying to watch his fights ! ' . 'So we just need to get some other british boxers and millions will watch...

I'm sure they have paid well over the odds and ratings are infinitesimal.
