I went to my first ever Am boxing show yeaterday

My 12 year old had his first proper bout at a proper show. Went well for him but freaked me out a bit.
I have no boxing background & my boy surprised me by deciding he wanted to box.
I really enjoyed the evening but I still struggle with the idea of my boy getting punched.
He got away with it this time but it will get tougher from here. Not sure I want to watch it.
