Finally the pacman team man up and give us the fight we wanted. Unfortunately the bookies no the score in this one and there is no value to be had - floyd priced up between 2/7 and 1/3 in most places. Easy points win imo.

Floyd win Over2.5 comes on mouthing off Manny would have beaten him 5 years ago
Manny wins Over2.5 comes on saying how right he was and Floyd is no good any quotes on these scenarios?? usually everything has a price but in this instance surely any price is a good price |

Finally the pacman team man up and give us the fight we wanted. Unfortunately the bookies no the score in this one and there is no value to be had - floyd priced up between 2/7 and 1/3 in most places. Easy points win imo. Mayweather is 1.44 here, and I think he will drift gradually as fight night approaches as the hype sets in (not that this has any affect on the outcome). |
By:
still interested in this although not same as years back when World would have stopped what they were doing to watch this.
Although for plenty i'm sure the reaction is 'meh'... Floyd probably realises he shouldn't have delayed and procrastinated so much when the opportunity first arose. Should be one of the few really entertaining fights of his career |
By:
will be pretty close otherwise won't get a Mayweatherpacquiao II
|
By:
Hoping the mug public steam into pac and believe that this is actually an 'equal 50/50' fight. Anywhere near 1.7 on Floyd would be most appreciated!
|
By:
Mayweather will definetly drift. I think we'l get 8/11 come fight night which may then be value.
|
By:
A 37 year old v a 36 year old, this is going to be an over hyped affair that will make them truck loads of cash on ppv. 5 years too late. Ageing fighters past their best can still put on a show - Ali / Frazier 3, Leonard / Hearns 2 for example. I hope they won't disappoint.
|
By:
They're still arguably the top 2 in PFP rankings 5 years late or not
|
By:
Doubt anyone general public will get a ticket
|
By:
SJ i've seen figures online of tickets at the very back of the going for 8K, that can't be true can it??
|
By:
Could be ahoy reports there won't be a general sale and if there is it will be hundreds at most
|
By:
No that is a tout site mate. But they could be anything
|
By:
That's madness, i suppose everyone who is anyone will want to be there, high rollers and celebs etc etc and still i have my UFC friends saying that will take over, There will never be this much interest in a UFC fight, Never.
|
By:
Think even without a ticket for the fight Vegas will be incredible to be around first weekend in May
|
By:
I know I'm in a minority of 1 but I've a feeling this will be a boring fight, slim win for Mayweather on points (whatever happens in the fight!) and then bring on May v Pac II.........
either that or the polar opposite and it ends a career! |
By:
can see this being both last fighters last fight, but were way to late for this fight, personally think pac is the value here
|
By:
Definitely will disappoint the fight either way cannot wait for it though. Really think Floyd on points will be free money but we will see. Read in the paper today that ringside tickets could rise to £50,000!?
|
By:
seen any rap videos lately? £50k isnt a lot for rich people
|
By:
They're 36 & 37 not 66 & 67, they can still fight at a very high level, nothing will concentrate their minds more than this fight, more so than any other fight in both of their careers, neither could be any more motivated to win and if their is a Boxing God, then Pacquiao will win which will teach the motor mouth a lesson thinking by putting this fight off for years with bollox excuses that he will get Pac when he's not as good. Whatever people say now about it being 5 years too late, come fight night, every man and his dog will be watching this fight, if Mayweather wins there will be no replay, if Pac wins there's a chance. Though I'd love it if he retired after knocking the prat out.

If Manny had agreed to random blood testing 5 years ago the fight would have taken place then??
|
By:
no it wouldnt ahoy you thick mug

By:
Got to agree with Ahoy. Mannys fear of needles seems to have cleared up
|
By:
what has needles got to do with this fight finally happening?
|
By:
because what sj really means is, when pacman said he was scared of needles and didnt want blood testing he was doping, now hes clean he has no fear of being caught/needles
![]() |
By:
Funny how pacman has not knocked out anyone since the needle saga.
|
By:
floyd failed 3 drug tests.. pacman failed 0
|
By:
when did floyd fail 3 drugs tests u clown
|
By:
Think it was during his wet dream
|

By:
grantcking, do you think the fight is now only happening because manny has accepted the conditions of Floyd and his camp??
I haven't read anything to that effect. Just thought that finally they had bowed to the commercial realities. |
By:
Floyd had a six fight deal with showtime. It had to end with Pac because if pac was fight 1 or 2 no one would pay to watch him fight anyone else
|
By:
But its not ending with pac, he's still got another fight after that.
