I was at Goffs last week and bumped into man who I knew to say hello to at the races, he said he was thinking of buying a foal put was unsure of the total cost of buying a foal for 5,000gns and having it boarded for a year , he asked my opinion and sadly I had to say I didn't know. Thinking about it later I thought to myself surely someone on the b&b forum would have an idea, over to you lads . Foal was to remain in Ireland..

Budget for 10,000 costs and you won’t go far wrong.
I.e foal needs to make €15,000

Surprised nobody at Goffs could help u, although it is a bit of a lions den
