Anyone feel like the Cavs have a shot in game 1, or in fact to win the series?

I've got some bets riding on the Cavs to win the title all up should win close to $4k if they can take it but I'm not entirely confident..

Cleveland have won their last 7, GSW have won 7 or their last 8. So both teams have been doing it easy.

Both teams have key players gimpy (Klay Thompson, Kyrie Irving).

It'll be an interesting series, interesting to hear what people think on this one...

Think GSW will absolutely destroy the Cavs. The Cavs have played no one in this postseason. Bulls and Hawks both had so many injuries. Please don't tell me that Shumpert Thompson and Smith are suddenly great players. The Cavs have benefited hugely by very poor shooting from their opponents in the playoffs. These arent contested shots but wide open shots. GSW just wont miss. They will pile the pressure on LBJ and co.

Even earlier in the season when Cavs beat GSW it was with Love and GSW were poor that day. My memory of it was some of the worst officating I have ever seen. The number of fouls given in favour of LBJ and co was frightening. LBJ will have to have a monster series but I dont think that will be enough against the depth this GSW team has.

Difficult to pick a winner in this series with Irving nicked up. I actually think he's better than Curry when healthy, just because of his phenomenal scoring ability.

H.Barnes will be instrumental in this series, because the Cavs go small so much, and he has the physique to battle James.

I have the Cavs slight favs. I think they'll reduce the Warriors' offense to a lot of 1 on 1. Experience will be a factor; Warriors don't really have big game experience on the floor nor on the sideline whereas the Cavs have it both ways. Coach Blatt is a legend.

well it depends on Irving's health. They should have won game 1. Multiple defensive lapses by JR.Smith in crunch time cost 'em -they can fix that, they can't fix a torn MCL or whatever.

After watching last night's game, I can see the Warriors sweeping this 4-0 or winning 4-1. To think how good LeBron played last night and them ending up on the losing side, was astonishing.

looking really bad now for golden state, curry is dogsh it, either that or he cant handle pressure, one of the worst PG performances ive ever seen, multiple times he picked the wrong pass or shot at the wrong time and he was 5-23 on field goals, not sure how they can win a game in cleveland

Game 3 odds opened with the Cavs 1pt favs, the market has reversed that (Warriors 1pt favs). I'll side with Vegas here. Great home court advantage for the Cavs -every bit as good as Oracle arena. JR.Smith & Shumpert will play better at home. That noose around Curry's neck will get tighter...

Loved how Steph Smith the NBA ESPN commentator attacked Dellavedova after Game 1. “Matthew Dellavedova only played nine minutes and 23 seconds last night — do you know why that was? It wasn’t just because of Kyrie’s greatness. It was because Matthew Dellavedova could barely bring the ball up the court on Steph Curry,” Smith said.

Guess what happens Game 2? Dellavedova keeps Curry scoreless with his defending. Case of things can come back to bite you on the bum
Report West Coast Eagles June 9, 2015 11:21 PM BST
I must admit, thought Dellavedova had a shocking Game 1, I was wondering why LeBron was bringing the ball down in the 2nd half, it might be the fire he needed to get his game on. Had a much better Game 2 and he is going to need to step up for the Cavs to have any chance
Report numer0ne June 10, 2015 3:13 AM BST
He only played about 11mins in game 1 because Irving was rolling. Cavs have had the Warriors in lockdown ever since Irving got hurt.

I doesn't look like foul trouble will be a problem for the Cavs despite their light rotation.  I wonder if fatigue might be a factor going forward in this series because it looks like the only thing that can stop the Cavs now is cramps.

Report Mooono June 11, 2015 6:03 PM BST
I fully expected the Warriors to breeze this series, but they're playing softer than some andrex double quilted bog roll! Lebron is playing the best basketball of his career and seems to want this alot more than he did in the finals last year, he was draging alot of baggage along with him then, and his teammates aren't much better this year, but he's doing this for his home city.

Warriors moneyline 1.67 looks very skinny, the cavs are like swarming bees all over curry and it has him rattled, he's the mvp though and true mvps should be able to find a way out of this hole. If cavs take game 4 the warriors are in a world of trouble.
