TONY PARKER TOO BANGED UP TO BE EFFECTIVE RIGHT NOW. ALWAYS HAPPENS TO THEM THIS TIME OF YEAR WHERE THEY ALL PICK UP INJURIES. IF THIS WAS DEC/JAN THEY'LL BE FAV IMHO. OKC DONT HAVE THAT 3RD SCORER SO IF DURANT WESTBROOK KEEP HAVING TO GET 30PTS A GAME THAT WONT CUT IT IN PLAYOFFS.

djokovic is playing for miami heat. they gonna crush all
easy peasy |
By:
Been backing Miami for the championship everytime ive had a win for many months now..I see no team beating a fully fit heat team over the best of 7games..Out of the West i fancy the Spurs, surely there last chance at a Championship in the Duncan era.

Would love to know who got matched at 599/1 on Miami winning the championship

THEY PROB CAN V LAKERS OR HOUSTON AND DEM BUT MORE DEFENSIVE TEAMS WHO HAVE PLAYERS TO SHUT THEM DOWN WILL BE MORE HARDER TO BEAT IF MARTIN OR IBAKA DONT CONTRIBUTE

I'll fill in my full bracket tomorrow, but no way will the clippers make the final. I'm not sure they'll get out the first round

FINALS PICK: New York - Denver Nuggets

Who we kidding? Its gonna be HEAT vs OKC

TRACY MCGRADY SIGNS FOR SPURS ... INTERESTING
|
By:
Denver are an excellent home team, if they can defend home advantage and nick one on the road...
|
By:
I personally can't make a case for any team beating Miami over 7
|
By:
If The Knicks could get some momentum going by giving Boston a good hiding, I think they could win it.
Miami are so strong though. |
By:
EVEN IF MIAMI WAS TO LOSE 1 GAME AT HOME TO ANYONE YOUR TELLIN ME THAT THEY'LL THEN LOSE 3 MORE WITHOUT COMING BACK. NAH SORRY CANT SEE IT. DENVER ARE A HOME TEAM, ALL SEASON THEYVE BEEN SUSPECT ON THE ROAD. PLAY OFF DEFENSE WILL FIND THEM OUT
|

|
By:
At the prices, I would rather back Nuggets @ 28 then OKC @ 5.8 if I was choosing from that conference
|
By:
Gallinari is out and Lawson isn't fully fit. Without these two at the top of their game, the Nuggets have no chance. Absolutely none. If you back the Nuggets at @28, you are throwing money away. OKC will reach the finals.
|
By:
If Miami get out the east, then they'll win it. West is more stacked but there's a few teams in the east that can match Miami over 7 games provided things go very well. Knicks (If Melo plays like the MVP we know he is, and Smith + one other give support off the bench), Bulls (If Rose comes back, and I think he will). Pacers would have with Granger but no chance without. Celtics would with Rondo as well. Only 5 teams can win it all - Heat, Knicks, OKC and Spurs. Take your pick.

Oh sorry, I was originally going to include Chicago but I changed my mind. Even with Rose, I don't think they'll have enough this year.
|
By:
One last thing on Denver, I hope I'm wrong as they are so much fun to watch. GSW-Denver and Grizzlies-Clippers are going to be amazing, we have a great playoffs ahead.

THERES A REGULAR SEASON TYPE TEAM AND THERES A PLAYOFF TEAM DENVER = REG SEASON. BOSTON, MEMPHIS, MIAMI OKC = PLAYOFF TEAMS

MIAMI CAN LOSE TO INDIANA FOR EXAMPLE OR NYK OR CHICAGO IF D ROSE WHO IS IN FULL TRAINING FOR WEEKS NOW WILL COME BACK. thiose teams have solid matches against miami in regular.
overall miami had their run and the won lot of matches but since last year many teams on the east improved vastly so all the playoffs would be very interesting and more even than 2012 difficult to see them losing finals but wouldnt rule it out as well. i think san antonio would have huge chance if they are fit but if they get there it means they playing their best and they have huge experience, remember dallas. also clippers is a huge team, the struglling with inured paul but if he will play his best they are real danger to anybody, huge experience within team and wide bench . but yes, memphis big step for them first. okc looks like struggling in this match up thou but year past in young team they can play better, martin is great shooter and overall very effective player good defender, he gives 14 points every match (about 3 rd player to preform) overall as we know playoffs r different cookie to regular season and often teams who are playing very well there cant bring it into post season. as i said lot of teams improved to last year and it will be seen when it counts. it wont be cake walk for sure to anybody ,we already saw miami chicago match for example as a taster . it wont be as easy as last year |

has anyone got any long standing bets in the outright? anyone in a good position already>

Anybody else think the Celtics are a bit big for this game? They have a lot of big, experienced players. Garnett should be available. I'm not sure that they will win the game, but I think they may trade lower than the current 4.2/4.3.
I'm gonna back the Celtics with a view to trading out. I like The Knicks, but I don't like this price. |
By:
games this season (home team first)
New York 108-89 Boston Boston 85-100 New York Boston 86-89 New York New York 96-102 Boston Depends how much you value big game/playoff experience despite being the lesser team ability wise I guess. I think New York will cover |
