very tough one to call... personally I think Boston finishes the job. they will be pumped up and ready to do this at home. if they allow Miami to take this one it will be very hard to win again in Miami...

I`m all over celtics here, if Heats couldnt win in Miami why would they win here? considering how poor Celtics were in Miami (except last q) 2.2 is huge

Wade has been poor all series long... don't think it will change today with this massive pressure on them.
Bosh.. yeah.. he made some points... but his poor defense against KG also granted the Celtics a few points. Celts were on a 15-1 run when Bosh was in. Now i'm also seeing his early comeback as a desparation move. Lebron will need a lot of help from the others tonight if they want to win. Other than that: Rondo is superb in this series. Pierce won't be as bad at home as he was last game in Miami. Allen is also due some more 3 pointers... let's go CELTICS. Old vs. young final :D |

You are NOW seeing Bosh's comeback as desperation? Well better late than never. BTW Bosh had the worst +/- of all Heat players in Game 5. 'Nuff said, and they plan to use him MORE tonight. Good luck with that idea.
The price is again quite shocking, although it is hard to top the stupidity of 1.25 on Miami in Game 5. |

Only plausible reason is that teams win from 0-2 only 5% of the time. Since OKC just did it people think Boston won't.

Miami has full squad now.bosh will open the floor for wade as he wont be double teamed.boston wasn't that great last game it was miami who choked.i think odd sare spot on.i think miami will win this match but as always odd will be flying up and down so there will be opportunities for everybody involved

1. As mentioned before, Bosh had the worst +/- of the Heat in Game 5 (feel free to check: http://scores.espn.go.com/nba/boxscore?gameId=320605014). - This is because he is a huge defensive liability. He has problems with Garnett even when healthy. - I doubt that Boston will give up on neutralizing Wade so easily. They are veterans with veteran coach and have at least 2 different game plans, depending how Bosh plays on offense (Rivers admitted they have been planning for Boshreturn from the start of the series). 2. "it was miami who choked" - Exactly. This is what they do. Boston will never choke. 3. Home court means Heat will not get many freebies from the refs, and that nullifies Wade almost entirely. His game is predicated on going hard to the basket and then taking/faking contact to get to the line. If they cover him well and refs don't reward flops, he will need to have a godly mid range shooting night in the pressure game. 4. LBJ carried Heat so far, but he is not the closer by mentality. Who else can step up? Wade is having a bad series, it will be a miracle if he can do tonight what he could not do at home. Justification for the price can only be the 0-2 comeback stat, yes we all know Boston has injuries but that hasn't stopped them when they were 0-2 and will surely not stop them now when they are 3-2. |

Oh yea, Pinnacle has pushed the price up from 1.725 to 1.813 steadily over last few hours, meaning there is constant pressure on the price as more and more big fish take positions.

Yes I know you are normally more coherent (and mostly we agree on things).
The +/- thing is relevant because it shows how quickly Boston attacked Bosh when he came in. Same will happen tonight. Miami can't afford that. |

I know most OKC backers for the championship are hoping for a Celtics win tonight..Shows you what team boost a bigger threat to OKC..My basketball head wants the Celtics to win the lot, but my betting head says Miami win back to back games, and the finals go 7 games in a ding dong battle royal.
