Wouldn't even worry about 10k tbh.  Was browsing businesses for sale up here a month or so ago.  Came across a "business" for 65k, which involved a system for betting on tote exotics.
Was going to go an attend the information session and pose some relevant questions, but figured not worth my time.  Better off here saving up for it.  Has to be legit if he says it is.

Your a rascal ....putting negative spin on my efforts to be positive and then completely ignoring advice on what has been raised by Henry and BJT relating to what appears to be commercial operations over the internet of a de-registered company (a situation I was not aware of prior to yesterday).

As an opinion ....I am increasingly doubtful if the website is operated by some little old guy born to potato farmers but perhaps some group of young guns savvy in marketing and the internet and collecting money. (Pops sit here and read this into the camera)

Understand that your service is more a fitness ratings service than a service on how to win or be profitable...you seem to leave that to the discretion of your followers/members,

I have put to you ideas in the past and I see to some degree you have implemented them (to you slight benefit)

With a website I believe there is so much more you can offer...and as suggested before (either inferentially or directly) a how to win service would be imo more interesting for members ...

You may find interesting/relevant ratings to pricing post (or whatever I called it) and using some of the tools (mathematical) referred to there you could "frame" a market based on your ratings.....

Now that would be very interesting...and to many worth a membership..

A scam, is a dishonest scheme.

The simple fact that he is promoting his company, which isn't actually a company, is enough to warrant calling it a scheme.  Regardless of anything else.  Why?  Because it is dishonest.

Does he have patents?  Copywrights?  Trademarks?  He suggests he does.  A patent on what?  His 10,000 algorithm program that he doesn't use, because he just sits there and puts a number in a sheet?

have you been watching or subscribing and know he doesn't put up the horses he claims ran in the placings ... and that he pretends afterwards that he did post horses to his subscribers ... while he actually didn't

I did this on the msn forum a number of years ago. I subscribed, deliberately to collect WOT's garbage and then each week posted exact copies of it on a thread. Everything was there to been seen, week after week, coloured graphs betting advice and all. WOT has been exposed numerous times as a fraud and a con, but he continues to try and reinvent himself every few years to suck in a new lot of mug punters who'll fall in. This time around it's dressed up as a "punters club" at $500 a slice for membership. He's probably popping up on numerous forums as we speak trumpeting his wears, probably didn't expect to see so many who might remember him here this time around but hopefully anyone who considers this garbage for 10 seconds realises that this is not serious stuff and should just move on.

Hi some post of 28point8dotcom came up on google and my name was there, and I saw comments about me.

Just an update; I have been in racing for over 50 years and look at horses in the mounting yards for a fitness edge and have a free forum live during the week giving out fitness tips and a traders punters club.

Like most long time punters, emotions have always been a huge problem in my life; so I sent on-line on the toughest of toughest forums in the world as a learning curve and it quickly exposed the weakness in my trading to win on every race. Basically you have to be very selective in which races you bet on and be in control and extremely patient.

After about 3-4 months of abuse and encouragement in re-programming oneself, I finally got on top of my own emotions and my strike rate is huge in my first 2 weeks live on line  trading in anything so long as members win.

Though you won't believe it, but the pre race tips are there, we have traded nearly 19,000% profit in just 8 days on-line.

I have had success this week in Australia, South Africa, Uk and Hong Kong, by looking at horses pre race on the 4 television screens I have set up.

So I hope that answers a few questions about me and good luck.

I only know whose fittest 3-4 minutes before they race and when I finish my ratings, then we have to trade right down to they jump and there is no time to go anywhere,  but you can see it all live on-line.

Currently I have 6 staff.

We are trading to show a profit anyway possible as long as we finish in front, if I have to sell the mother-in-law...SOLD!

As the owners of this site would know, racehorsetalk...is a great name....there are many many thousands of horse related sites around the world and
I looked at the marketing names of the big companies that mean nothing...like Coke, Nike and it's famous tick, Google, 7up, Pepsi, Sony...so I wanted something along those lines.

Somehow the movie "10"...with Dudley Moore came into my head and then I knew that 8 was very very lucky number in Asia (and that is where we are going, for those big Asian and Hong Kong pools to one day win $1m in a single day in the punters club....so 3 888"s came to my head and then No 2. is the Asian 2nd lucky number and ended up with 28.8.

So marketing Caps & Shirts, Stubby holders and media it all fits in nicely and one day for our own super fit horse racing team for members...28.8 feels good.

This is all 4.5 years ago where he had already been shown up over many years continually popping up with a new name.  28.8 had 6 staff apparantly 4.5 years ago.  And after all these years of members subscribing to these massive massive profits, he is still managing to get all his members and staff massive first fours based on 2.6 units being invested on the winning combination.

Records broken today at Cranbourne un much difficulties, I walked into a tree branch and had to wear
over my good eye, the right on which was always going to make tipping difficult.

Going out to the car, I slipped and badly sprained my ankle so hobbled on course with a patch over my eye, and on crutches.

By race 3 I had downed my normal 3 pies with sauce, but whow be hold; they were off and I had the runs for the rest of the day.

God it was hard to hobble out to the mounting yard on my cruches, looking at the horses with one eye,
and my tummy just about to explode again and into the bookies ring to check the prices.

I really struggled through the day and coming down the stairs; my crutches hit the wrong step and I fell down two flights, breaking my right arm.

Now I am home after paying a $150 taxi bill and living on panadol and bandages around my broken arm.


I am getting server cramp in my left arm typing with one hand, but we did break all records today and that is cool.


Well playing golf tomorrow up in the hills where they don't have a buggy, I hope it is a better day for me.

Thebas.  Your whole point about me was that you took me to task over calling this a scam without proof.

To do that, all I merely need to do, is prove that he is dishonest, and what he is doing is considered a scheme.  Both things of course, are the pure definition of "scam", or scam being a dishonest scheme.

To do this, I don't need to prove that everything he says is false.  The way you are making out, if he says one thing that isn't a lie, then I therefore cannot prove it to be a scam.  Seems you 2 would get along quite well.

He has been spinning the same siht for years.  In fact, over a decade.  Gone to every forum, changing names consistently, and coming up with scam after scam.  This however has been his main theme.

So no, I do not have to bow down to you and answer anything specific to backup what I have said.  All I need to do is prove that he is dishonest, which has been done to death.

1. He advertises that he doesnt look but scans images into his program which has taken him 50+ years to develop the tens of thousands of algorithms for. His program then spits out a figure to .2 of a percent (even though he hasnt worked out how to include a decimal point on a spreadsheet) at which point you will land thousands in exotics a day and win 97% of your lat bets.
He doesnt have a program that can tell you a horses blood count or hypertrophic muscle levels or oxgen count or fitness levels.

You accept that he just looks at horses and gives them a number but that is not what he advertises he does. I believe he is also witholding a very serious mental obsession and not letting go at the one time he was able to sell his idea over a decade ago.

2. Becomes pretty easy to answer by reading 1. They are not receiving collated data from a sophisticated program that is able to judge all these factors of a horse. They are getting a guy giving a number by looking at a television 2 to 3 minutes before jump in which time they are supposed to be backing wins lays quinellas exactas trifectas and first fours.

3. They join (if any) for the easy money he promotes. Interestingly enough his revolutionary youtube videos have about 30 hits in 12 months. His testimonials are all from people taking the piss out of him on this forum. Does he have any members? He claims his membership base is strong enough to knock a horse in from 3.20 to 2.25. Yet none are willing to watch his rubbish videos.

You seem to forgetting? that he is advertising on here is to gain new customers. I therefore ama potential customer that has caught him out in many lies. As a potential customer i expect to get what i paid for which is what he claims. That is highly sophisticated fitness levels from his patented program that can do the impossible.

Last post to you in this ridiculous back and forth. You are simply encouraging him and that is pretty low act.

He has been asked to put his tips up before the race which he did. Did not find a winner or anything close tipping 5 horses a race. He has had people subscribe to show this as a continued theme. He doesnt do what he advertises. He doesnt have what he advertises.

How hard would it be to offer his members 50% off for a week to give an honest appraisal? They are more than likely BF customers seeing as they are laying his unfit favs. Where are all these people? Nothing better than word of mouth from a satisfied customer. Yet there has never been one post from a satisfied customer. But hundreds upon hundreds from people calling him a conman and a fraud across many different forums posting under many different aliases across many different schemes.

but on derby day last year .. with a million and one experts .. local tipsters ...newspaper tipsters ... parade ring watchers .. big syndicates .. this horse from a top stable was sent out at 9/1 .. a monster and showed his class at the end of the 25

so ONE YEAR ago I said to myself .. I don't see what he sees when he looks at a horse ... but he obviously sees something

and that's where I left it ..

But I know you wouldn't do that because before you make judgement on someone first you have to see some factual data to know whether what she was selling makes a profit or not. when I read about about 6 months later I put two and two together

however .. there was little wrong as such with what I could glean from the girl

she said they had a comprehensive database (?) .. and all I had to do was push a few buttons and it would tell me what horse would win

so just a programming extraction of data to come up with an odds-rating

but I choked when she said $10k

and burst into laughter when she said I could have a $7k version if I really wanted

when they got busted I think it was because they produced glossy literature as well saying that you couldn't lose etc and it was guaranteed to win for the rest of your life ... I never got that far with my sultry sounding caller


I did later however .. buy a quarterly subscription database service (up in Briz local) .. wont say who .. all about 10 years ago just prior to me joining betfair

the ratings were open and transparent .. but when I investigated .. I found a hole in their 3yo ratings
(I had done all my own ratings exclusively on Sydney racing for about 7 years but wanted full Australia data)

I found they had not accounted for a development in 3yo's as they progressed through their 3yo season (similar to what admiral rous suggested in the wfa scale changing month by month for younger horses as they developed)

my mob was using a 3yo rating from 6 months ago when it was racing today for example .. I ipointed out that the horse may well have developed during that period and theo old 3yo rating was stagnant

I received no reply .. and cancelled the service renewal

these databases can all be fair dinkum and above board (even the gold coast one) .. who knows until they look

but for someone to suggest that you were guaranteed success for a lifetime .. that was there undoing as far as the investigation found as I remember

Last thing I read here was that Jim was on crutches with a broken leg,had a patch over one eye and had to dash to the loo every few minutes. He doesn't like the ideal candidate to get mounting yard info from.
