No comment on Charlton Elsu ? I know its only a rort when you're not in on it.
|
By:
Don't doubt his ability. That's why you can see something suss so obviously when he reverts back to bad nafun
|
By:
That horse is very limited. His win the start before was just plain IMO
365 would hold no fears taking bets at that price tonight! |
By:
Got nothing to do with its ability
|
By:
everyone new the horse is no good except you $1.75 no thank you................. led finished distance tonight
|
By:
ballarat cup for you gardenstar $10 win x$40 place restrepo
|
By:
How come you couldn't get your boy the drive on it?
|
By:
I think gardenstar is referring to Nathan locking wheels with the 2nd horse. I think a few punters might have been on the winner.
|
By:
Apparently Nathan put on quite the show after the race. Abusing Damian Wilson for locking wheels, even though it clearly wasn't Wilson who caused it.
|
By:
Oh and he certainly made sure that the winner was first to the pegs just after the start
|
By:
Slaughtermen required at meatworks: N Jack C Lang Jnr please apply after Melton R3 drives
|
By:
Galloping out then charging back up to the front is the most destructive thing a driver can do (e.g. see Be Free Dreams in the first and thousands of other examples). Chris Lang Jnr did it at Del Ray Dancers first start so you can't be completely shocked at the terrible repeat effort tonight.
Nathan was in an impossible position. If he hands up it dies in his face and if he doesn't he's gone way too fast and is toast so I wouldn't be as harsh on him. If you backed Casa Fundada in that race you were extremely unlucky to say the least. |
By:
Don't bet on Vic harness racing really but have seen Chris Lang Jnr drive some arrogant races and having seen him interviewed he looks like a real upstart.
|
By:

The old karma bus

Nice that media organizations that generally treat harness racing as a non-event suddenly rediscover its importance when something bad happens.
|
By:
Anyone remember the race in question?

By:
Race 1 - just watched it. Led, got up on the steel so went too quick down the back, and weakened (not surprisingly) for third. Not being funny, but what can the authorities see that I cannot?
|
By:
Sorry, Race 4

Betting patterns
|
By:
That's what I meant when I asked if anyone remembered it. I should've said anyone remember the betting on it.

He does spend a lot of time looking over his shoulder.
