5 Minutes to 7 Sunday

Just sitting here musing after a great weekend and wondering what the week at work will hold for me  - could  the slowest delivery driver in the west get any slower ? -  will the rep from that timber company get when with me when I tell him that he is 40c a l/m to expensive  - and will mrs saltys off the track thoroughbred try to kick me when I go to feed the ungrateful bastard

And the answers to all these questions is yes

On the plus side -

There has been a new bloke started at work on Friday ostensibly to water the garden but it turns out that he has a med rigid truck licencee and I managed to make use of him to do 3 plaster deliverys that he managed to get done and dusted in a hour and half (Ernie the slowest driver in the west would have taken all farking day) and I can see a job swap happening in the near term future

The rep will be buying me lunch on tuesday  and still be told he is to farking expensive

Oh and that horse will still try and kick me

On the punt on saturday I managed to back a few losers early

War Point for the win

Christ what was the frogster thinking - does it perfect from the inside gate for the first 800 - gets of the fence two rows back and then goes to sleep as they come round the outside and the horse drops the bit - I do like him as a jockey but he does sure have some brain fades and then the thing has the hide to charge to the line after looking no hope

Using Tins theory about Mikes Lays I was thinking this just **** in - but really was just not good enough - I guess the face that two stablemates just cut at each other does not help - but really I should know better

Junoob for the win

Getting desperate now but I figure that Shinn is form and its a cakewalk for max 0 was never in doubt from the 800

I loved this horses win in the easter cup and was a very brave ride by winks in that race - not sure that he has come back in the same form

Really 4/1 about this while having a huge record at the track and distance with a gun up it really was giving away money

Silent achiever for the balance on the place was not my best decision - oliver had a horrid day on saturday and down the gurgler I went

Now I have seriously loaded up on Terravista and was praying as this would win it all back and then some

Should I all up into Breeze in the last at the heath - well nearly but i went for the withdraw button

And smiled as brad produced a text book end to the day

Now its 7.30 and its time for the doctor - poor mans roast is done
