the favourite is a late scratching but kept in the field inplay
you would think all inplay bets would be void but not so
fave had a 42% reduction factor which was taken out post race but only on prerace wagers
interesting but probably in some fine print somewhere

just didn't feel right milking the situation but I'm sure a few did
