Are the ballots finalised now?
Bit confused as to the ballot order.  I thought it just went on prizemoney, but it must have something to do with importance of wins or something?

17th has more money than 16th, but doesn't have a black type win.  18th has less money than 16th, but has a G3 win.  Bit confusing.

I do notice that Chautauqua is 8.00 with TAB, yet is 57th in the ballot.  I assume the TAB are just taking the piss?

Can others move up the order by prize money alone, or do they need prizemoney plus a black type win to push their way in, knowing that there really aren't any other races for them this week unless they are running for big money in Sydney then backing up 7 days later?
Or is it a case of some of the prize money on some runners isn't counted because it was a extra money from a bonus scheme?

I'm surprised Rommel is 18th as he has earned prizemoney in a MM race and prizemoney from closed races doesn't count

1.  I watched the replay.  Exactly the same run as Peggy Jean.  Both missed the kick in last, and ran passed every horse but 1 to miss by a bees dick.
2.  Identical time.
3.  Peggy Jean ran passed 14 horses, Kumaon only ran passed 8.  PJ was much further back behind many more horses.
4.  Formline shows the horse that beat PJ ran 3rd in the Golden Slipper next start.
5.  Cyclone, who Kumaon beat in his only win, last seen failing to win a Maiden Plate.
6.  Only real form is Fighting Sun that won a listed next start.
7.  PJ screaming for 1400.

Good luck though...  LoveLove

lol,
Also shows Modoc, who he just beat home, raced Mossfun twice, 7 lengths behind both times.  Bring Me The Maid, 1 length...

But yes, was a cracking run.  Have we worked out if he is running yet?  20th in the ballot from what I can see?

I guess the main point in her favour, is that she is 9th in the ballot, and he is 20th.

And they are only taking 16..... BlushBlush

All valid points BJT--Cyclone's form lines were huge before last start failure--Bit of a worry Sad. But cant back out now. Im happy to just get a start when backing things all in 2 weeks before the raceHappy. Good luck BJT--Hope the best horse wins--As long as its mineCrazy
