Modern Mary does nothing but drift and wins at Echuca. If it were the other way around certain people on here would have claimed a rort!

Just goes to show that the vast majority of market shifts are no more than corrections, this assertion certain people have that is MUST mean something is going on shows very limited knowledge of the sport and betting in general. A lot of people try to make more of market movers than they should, and most who do actually do very little proper form analysis themselves. It is generally the lazy approach imo

By the way very good drive by Rita Burnett

And thankfully -- not everything is as fixed up as some participants like to claim.
Even intended rorts can come unstuck for the best of them !!!   :-)

Happy you backed the winner Craig but when you hold the front and your horse runs 38 metres last it is safe to say that you should of handed up!  They are all absolutely hopeless.

Should Amanda Turnbull be allowed to drive again?

Could have easily killed a horse and even a driver then. Unbelievable. They won't do anything until lives are lost I am guessing

Best drive I've seen lately Josh Willick on Miss Fantastic - Worst G Fitzpatrick on One More Slim the following week

Both centred around Presidential Holme with Josh knowing it was limited so waiting waiting on Miss Fantastic

The next week G Fitzpatrick seemed to have no idea how limited it was and wasted all OMS's energy attacking Presidential leaving it a sitting shot for The ArtofAttitude

not saying G Fitzpatrick is not a good driver but in my opinion he cost that one a win that night

Congats mate.  You did not ease off the fence when you had 2 chances to.  You drove your horse up the ar$e of the leader and made it break and you still got beat a half length getting out with 50m to go.  Well done.  Honestly that was as bad as you will see

I suggest so.  never see him drive.  honestly it was painful.  the horse in the 1/1 was off the bit 1000m out but he refused to ease off the fence down the back.  look my fault for backing him but still he really should get 8 weeks.  but he won't.  I hope his float breaks down on the way home tonight.  Devil

kyles dad....

Former pacing champion Lindsay Harper has been indefinitely warned off racetracks worldwide just days before his nine-year disqualification was due to end.

Racing and Wagering WA's integrity assurance committee yesterday issued Mr Harper, 54, who was banned in 2005 for conduct detrimental to the harness industry, with the warning-off notice.

His disqualification was due to end tomorrow.

RWWA general manager of racing integrity Denis Boravica said there were no new circumstances that led to the warning-off notice.

"It was just on the basis of past history," Mr Boravica said.

Full details of the reasoning behind the committee's decision will be disclosed within the next month. Under RWWA regulations, a warning-off notice can be imposed on a person who "may be prejudicial to the proper conduct or control of racing".

An inquiry into the assault of a farrier at Mr Harper's stables led to a five-year ban in 2005.

Mr Harper broke the rules of the disqualification less than four years later by working at a stable and entering racetracks in the US.

As a result, stewards restarted the five-year ban.

Mr Harper was WA's premier reinsman when he set a then-State trotting record with 240 winners in the 2001-02 season.

His son Kyle, a pacing trainer-reinsman, launched a tirade against RWWA in a post on Facebook.

He said the decision was a disgrace.

Watch R3 Albany sat night. Have a look a lap out and the driver of the one one who let the 2nd favourite off the leaders back. Very dirty.
Report Chariots January 4, 2014 11:43 AM GMT
Under the WA rules the favourite could have posted the one/one horse three wide and in my opinion the one/one which was $63 eased to make sure he did not get posted at that point but was forced three wide soon after anyway.

Blake Hewitt last night not getting Mysterious River off the gate and making it gallop.  I have mentioned the Hewitt's before.  I have this vision of them all running around at home and running into each other.  They have to be inbred.

And Mat Rue.  Honestly, not that you can count that Miracle Mile as a Miracle Mile given it was just a FFA put on in the middle of the year.  He must be the worst driver of all time to win it.  No wonder he is McCarthy's no 2.  Perfect driver for it.

Solvalla you are all over these blokes.  Josh Osbourn is very shifty.  Him and his mate Clayton Harmey are hot workers indeed.

The Robert Morris drive was a disgrace.  Hold the front at Menangle and then hand up to Ruben Wiki at Penrith.  P-lease!  Read the stewards reports and all the drivers do is give a spiel of how circumstances changed and blah blah. The stewards then just remind them of their obligations over rule whatever.  Joke.

And in keeping with the topic of this thread.  Gavin Fitzpatrick.  Seriously how bad.  Why would you not drop in behind Munroe in the last lap.  He must be legally classified as a special needs person.
