snaffled from the justracing website - 'One horse stands tall as the greatest winner of the Ipswich Cup, for since the race was first run in 1935, just the one horse – Sharply - has been successful carrying over 9 stone (57 kilograms) - as he carried the equivalent of 58.5 kilos (Voila Ici has 60kgs and Ginga Dude 58.5kgs Saturday) when successful in 1961.
