My reply

Hello,

Thanks for the call this morning, sorry i couldn't talk but i'm running around trying to do a couple of things. I appreciate the extra level of service, my only concern with Betfair is the amount of charges i am paying as a 'premium customer'. Unless the Premium Charges policy changes i don't really want to speak to anybody from betfair about the 'premium service' offering. Only interested in you calling me proactively if you're announcing changes to Premium Charges. Best contact for me is via email.

If i need your service i will make sure i use the number you have provided.

Thank you

What is the matter with you?
I went to the premium service AFL launch at the start of the year and it was bloody fantastic.
You should STFU and take the compliment, and all the goodies that go with it.

They're a fantastic mob. Take 25k in PC & offer a ticket or 2.
Free Rugby tix roflamo, they'd have to pay me 1k to watch that poor excuse for a sport.

think you might be missing the point PC....you're gonna pay anyway, so why not accept whatever's on offer?

What whoopi said is right. You're going to pay anyway. Take the goodies or give them to me. I'm always a grateful recipient Excited

I asked for six tickets to Swans/Pies game but they could only spare two. I don't ask for much very often & this was week after i had paid them a decent four figure premium charge.

BF can fk off their premium service as far as i'm concerned particular if they could fk off their premium charge.

Kye,

Are you telling me you are a genuine bet-only Betfair user and you make enough to not only pay PC every week but also to make the premium club?

If that's true you have a gift, my friend, and you should be forever grateful to whatever deity you might worship that you are one of the very fortunate few.

Seriously! You guys spend a lot of time complaining about things you cannot control without realising just how gifted and fortunate you truly are.

crazy, how the fk am i fortunate when i spend 50 hours studying form, concentrating to get right price, taking enormous risks & then losing 34% of profits to BF. I'm left with a weekly profit of a few hundred on average that barely pays for my internet, formguides & foxtel.

I could work at the local Coles packing shelves & earn more (& not take any risks)

Kye you must be buying some very exe form! (I DON'T PAY ANYTHING)
Foxtel = $30 per
Internet = $20 per (may be less, wife pays it)
Form = ?????????

On the serious side, I don't get how you pay so much premium charge.
Am I the only one reading what Kye writes and thinking....geez i make a lot more than that and I'm not paying anywhere near that percentage?
I'm perplexed

whoopster,

That is why I posted. Seems very strange to me. Someone has it wrong.

When: 21 Aug 12 08:27
whoopi, i have no clue why i pay it. i suppose i back a high % of winners (some weeks!).

All i know that for a part time punter that spends long hours punting it makes it a waste of time & effort.

Mr Off, being a premium customer has nothing to do with the Premium Charge, they're 2 separate things

I know this is never going to happen, but if what you're saying is true (and I'm not saying it isn't), I am tipping I could fix your particular PC issue inside of 3 weeks. I'm staggered you can pay 34% on regular turnover.

Kye,

You can pay me as a PC consultant. I will solve your problem for a fraction of what Betfair charges you.

Whoopi, I suspect Kye bets on a ridiculous amount of markets from reading his posts, not much seems to pass him by! Which means he has many, many events he makes a profit on and many, many events he makes a loss on, which heavily dilutes the overall % commission he pays for any given period

By:
Kye
When: 21 Aug 12 10:49
i'm confused. so its not that i have good strikerate rather i bet on too many markets. I really dont care reasons why just that this charge is stupid & discrimatory & i'm not far away from closing my account & leaving the punt forever.

AD has me pegged. i'd bet on two flies crawling across my laptop.

Note there are plenty of meetings to bet on. so it is not uncommon to bet on 20-30 races a day

Ok, so let me get this straight, Kye.
You bet on anything and everything, and you pretty much bet 150-200 races of various types every week and you are in front overall?
And you do oodles of form for all codes, and sports?
Something just doesn't wash here, folks.
You're either a genius with an eidetic memory or...I don't wanna finish that sentence out of respect cos you are a good contributor on the forum, but geez!
