They paid me out, but my account lasted 90 minutes (of betting) before the ol fixed odds disappeared into nothingness and my account is now closed.
Managed to clear my account for withdrawal, and paid straight out, so for mine there is no issue in legitimacy, just that it is another gutless bookmaker that hasn't got the ability to out think somebody sitting at home in their jocks... ![]() My advice. Start on them early. Hit them hard, for max results. You are gone after a day anyway, so maximise your returns by putting everything into it. From memory, I had about 30 bets with them, all arbs, in 90 minutes. Obviously some repetitive since I wasn't sure on the liability they would offer me. Think I got 1 winner, so didn't win much off them, but plenty there, and hope for a winning day before you collect. Give them a go, destroy them, never look back. |

This line would concern me somewhat:
Bookmaker.com.au is licensed and regulated by an Australian Territory. Our betting operations are governed by our Responsible Gambling Code of Conduct and secured using Secure Sockets Layer with 256-bit encryption. Gamble responsibly. Which one? If it's ACT I wouldn't give them the steam off my...well you know. If it's NT probably a little safer, although some have said doesn't count for much. |
By:
I have it on good advice that they are licensed on Norfolk Island. Don't know what that means in terms of your protection...

I did have a good look through what was available online, as far as identification goes, and despite all the digging I resolved that it could well have been M.Mouse Inc.
I reckon you would have to be one heck of a trusting soul to pass your money over considering how meticulous they are about declaring absolutely NOTHING about who you are handing it over to. Might as well launch a website that says "PAY HERE" in flashing lights ? Very confusing. |

Fairly certain the man behind them is Dean Shannon of Courageous Annie fame. Has lots and lots, that is not to say things can't go bad! Might give you more or less confidence, I'm not sure.
|
By:
Not sure why I used Courageous Annie over Lanercost!
|
By:
Didn't Dean start off in the online porn industry ?
There are numerous examples of people moving from porn to gaming. Party Poker being an example. |
By:
I moved into porn because of gambling

By:
Yes, Barney, if you are only betting on the one meeting, there is always that window of 10 minutes for a bit of porn surfing.
|
By:
Owner is a multi. Can get set for just about whatever you want
|
By:
yeah - agreed
|

when i aid I moved into porn, it was as an actor

"dotcom" Dean Shannon (who sponsored the 2001 "Toast" InterDom) and two other geniuses from Brisbane got in early when internet porn exploded with a program to process payments to porn sites and made mega millions.....the other two blokes didn't fare so well....one was a walking headline with his outrageous spending and subsequent bankruptcy....the other was jailed for detaining and torturing a guy who tried to rob him......hats off to Mr Shannon as he is the king of the "Ready To Run" sales in NZ and for actually surviving the bad karma that must come from fleecing millions of desperate w@nkers

Opened an account yesterday. Had two $50 bets at wyong. Received this email:Re: Your Account - Bookmaker.com.au
On review of your account by our Bookmakers Dept, we are only able to offer you tote prices at this time. This limit may be reviewed at some point in the future. Kind Regards Jamie Customer Support After 2 bets! Just another flea operation. |
By:
Well my account should have been closed down last week based on that. Will be waiting and expecting.
|
By:
both bets in race 1, one at 30's and the other at 50's. One runs last the other 3rd last. Don't understand what sort of filtering system bars after that?
|
By:
Must have bet too much at the long odds..."maybe he knows something, better can him" SIGH

Ok so let's agree that all corporate bookmakers are useless, spineless jellyfish.
I reckon we've spent enough time about the problem. I would prefer we attempt to talk about solutions. Maybe there aren't any, but we should make an effort. |
By:
Maybe they should change their name to toteprices.com.au
|
By:
robl lover on middle tote now !!!
|
By:
Corps share information on winning punters
|
By:
Exactly Mr Crow.
I'm sure there's an industry list of "problem" customers. Same theory as Video stores having an industry list of customers they don't want. It's competitors banding together for their common good |
By:
Video stores have customers they don't want?? What do they do? Rent every copy of the King's Speech on the same day and return them 8 months later?
|
By:
What did he say this time?
|
By:
Wah Wah Wah
Robl Lover cant get a bet on with the corporates! Jamie has been very active, as I got this email: As we are a new company and have only been established for a short period of time, although your custom is appreciated we are not prepared for a client of your standard at this stage. On review of your account by our bookmakers, they have decided that they are only able to offer you tote prices at this time Kind Regards Jamie Customer Support |
