a mile in the uk prem ... you know .. where they stupidly run up hill and down dale and all over the bleeding place ... where the mile is like a 10f race anywhere else in the normal racetrack world
my question to UK race course designers is this
are all your roads so poorly plannned ... so hopelessly arranged ... that there is hardly a straight line or flat surface to drive on
if your roads have some sensibility to their planning ... then .. wtf happened with your race course designers ... were they all on "the sauce" the night before ????

Admittedly my line of work can have quite a malodorous stench about it.
As can yours i'd imagine Mugsy, sorting though all that second hand clothing is not everybody's cup of tea.
Do not think this is in anyway a criticism Mugsy, far from it, anybody who gives up their spare time to help the aged can't be all bad imo.

Black Caviar no certainty to race 'B-grade' sprinters
Champion trainer Peter Moody has labelled Black Caviar’s UK rivals as "B-grade sprinters” before stating the wonder mare wasn’t a definite starter in the Royal Ascot carnival.
At The Races interviewed Moody, suggesting Black Caviar had to "prove herself” in next month’s Group I Diamond Jubilee Stakes (1200m) and asked the Caulfield trainer "how much of a massive blow” would it be if the daughter of Bel Esprit suffered defeat.
"It would be an absolute tragedy if she went there and got beaten by your B-grade sprinters, for half the prizemoney and (travelling) three-quarters of the way around the world,” Moody said.
"I will take all endeavours to make sure it won't happen."
Moody said if Black Caviar wasn't at her top he wouldn’t risk the unbeaten record, which is likely to extend to 21 following Saturday’s Group 1 The Goodwood (1200m) at Morphettville .
"If I take her all the way over there and she is not right I won't run her for the sake of running," he said.
Black Caviar is the $1.04 favourite to continue her record-breaking winning streak on Saturday. Such is her dominance, the second and third favourites for The Goodwood are Shopaholic and Stratcombe at $26 prompting the trainer to remind the English what was heading their way.
"You have never seen anything like this horse before,” he said.

australian newspaper report:not 2nd hand english dribble.
Speaking on English television channel At The Races, Moody took aim at interviewer Matt Chapman when he suggested Black Caviar needed to prove herself by winning the 1200m Diamond Jubilee Stakes at Royal Ascot next month and it would be a blow if her 20-race unbeaten streak came to an end at the English meeting.
"You have never seen anything like this horse before," Moody said.
"It would be an absolute tragedy if she went there and got beaten by your B-grade sprinters, for half the prizemoney and travelling three-quarters of the way around the world."
Moody said if Black Caviar was not at her best in England, he would not feel obliged to run her.
"If I take her all the way over there and she is not right, I won't run her for the sake of running," he said.

Thebas, sorry to drag you into this.I actually said to spoon that he used to be a good person ,what happened?I mistook a conversation we had about backing BC at Ascot. It was entirely good natured but i had a memory lapse and thought i had the conversation with him.I then looked up the thread and found out i had made a mistake.I apologised 3 times, but instead of accepting it he wrote a vile post attacking me.I have no problem with you at all.You are 100 times the man that Spoon is.Sorry for any misunderstanding.Good luck.
