Looks like O'Connor will be 5/8 for Force AP.
|
By:
Think he will come in and out of 10 during the game ....back up to Cooper with WC in mind DA. Will probably end up there in years to come but would be surprised if Willie Ripia doesn't run out in the 10 come RD 1.

I know a work bet where 4 blokes put in $100 at the start of the footy season.
They go all up, usually at short price teams during the year if only all 4 agree on the bet or they pass to the following week. So far they have won 4 years in a row and collected about $10k - $15k per year. |

Interesting thread AP.
One question- where do you call a halt to the all up? Will you take profits and return to the base bet or is it an endless all up to one mill? |
By:
Im playing round with that concept MrBen...the difficulty will be getting set if things turn out that way.
Most probably based around the doubling principle: In the first instance: Get to $ 800 then split 400/400 then $400 to $ 1600 then split then $800 to $3200 then split etc etc. Getting started the hardest thing ... when ever one misses ..whatever bank is: halved and start again Cheers AP |

good luck with it AP, keep posting, cheers.

Return on Bet 1: $ 984
Bank: $984 Reserve: $ 500 Recalibration of Bank: Betting: $ 500 Reserve: $ 984 Total: $ 1484 It would be remiss of me not to mention a fantastic battle of wills in the dying minutes of the last match.Lions/Stormers game : Lions had the running for most of the game.Stormers hit the front late ...Lions pinned down on their goaline ...2 mins left...continuous countless phase rugby for 3 or 4 mins and drove down to the STORMERS 22 AND CLOCK SHOWING 2 MINS PAST BELL( Union continues until a halt in play in this situation) a final gut wrenching effort by a second rower creates a turnover and ball kicked out...end of game) Classic stuff. So impressive ...would of copped either team winning ...regardless of the bet. |
By:
very very impressive AP!!!
your selection skills are superb. I'm itching to see where you will call a halt to the sequence and go back to the base level. best of luck. |
By:
Cheers MrBen...long may it continue
Mindful of building some reserve capital at the moment so not locking myself into a set formula at the moment ...however but early stages loosely based around doubling principle as earlier described...one thing for sure ...starting sequence will be 500 for a little while |

Excellent business Aussie Punter, well done and get that million mate.

Bet 1: ICC : England v Ireland : England $500 @ 1.03
|

good luck AP. POMS no way a 1.03 shot i dont think. Big risk this game for them.IRISH not the worst
|
By:
Agree about price Ta but that's what the market is offering... Im finding what I believe to be winning bets...price is secondary as it's relative. From how Im viewing it ...considering the base bet is/was 200 dollars ...in real terms Im taking $315 to $ 200 for a face value ticket of $ 515. In this way In real terms I view it as 6/4 about a 1.03 pop.
Basic idea of compounding. But agree ...as a stand alone proposition would rate them 1.10-1.12 |
By:
Keep going AP. I am suprised you haven't been into all the shorties before now with the World Cup. I mean, how could any of these minnows actually beat the pro's in a 50 over game?? For your compounding, this would have been money for jam. Good luck and keep going.

looking good so far, as soon as I saw spray paint in the Irish hair i knew they were in strife.
good cause they are doing it for, but |

I don't get it.Didn't Brumbies lose?

DA : Re -read the first couple of posts ...it isn't some fantasy attempt to have a 100% strikerate and turn 10 bucks to a million. My nerves and the market will dictate where things go from here.
PtP: On the surface definitely but you always have that small chance of rain and a shortened game(duckworth/lewis has burned many over the years). I certainly check weather charts before games but have been a bit strapped for time last couple of weeks Ta1: only chance was if they batted first imo |

tried to warn ya...
Should have been my biggest pay day. Ireland hit 400 i think. Stupid Australian Laws stopping online trading. We need more people contacting the GOVT tell them to change the law! |

Fk me

I stand corrected. The minnows are obviously a force to be reckoned with. Ireland's a brilliant side and worlds greatest batsmen. Just too good. Get them out here next summer for the one day series I say.
Bad Luck AP, you have been stiched up there for sure with an amazing fix of talent |

Black Swan event PtP
The bloke who played the blinder ...all the best to him...I caught a bit of the replay of closing stages...amazing scenes of celebration ...hope they party on |
By:
Bit of bad luck the AP.
But I think it has exposed the flaw in the plan. If taking 1.10 or less all up,there will always be a black swan to blow you out of the water. Need some kind of profit taking mechanism. |

Early Diagnosis:
Betting $ Nil reserve : $ 1000 Survived a Black Swan event and a couple of sluggish starts from normally competitive teams at home. Bank intact. Doubt I ever will go near line betting again (unless superb standout) as this is a far better approach. Once all footy seasons in full swing...happy days ahead Cheers AP |
