To be honest Lies until tonight i thought he was just struggling with the 500m. When they are well drawn to lead & have more ability than rest of field then you just expect them to win. Perhaps i should keep a database of known bludgers.
On the bright side I did take a quaddie ticket with the field in first leg & i have 3 dogs running for me in last leg. |

Same Consequence was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained soreness to the right wrist, a 5 day stand down period was imposed. Acting under GAR69(5), the Stwards charged Same Consequence with failing to pursue the lure with due to commitment (by reason of injury) and directed that the greyhound perform a STAT pursuant to GAR 69(6) before any future nomination will be accepted
Gee those GRV vets are good, has a nonny ever been vetted and no injury found. No time suspension, just 1 Sat trial. Disgraceful yet again, if only recreational/addicted punters would protest by not betting on the low animals they send around. Are the vets to blame? Are the stewards to blame? Are GRV directors giving the orders for leniency? Are Tabcorp pulling the strings? Or are they all **kwits with no idea? |

Stewards issued a warning to Anita Courts, the handler of Noah Bale regarding the greyhound's racing manners on the home turn. --------------------------------- considering he was put on a trial 3 starts ago, and in 2 starts since he has blatantly bludged by refusing to go past the 2nd dog, and today had a little look again, this decision seems about right - now he gets a warning! |

Sorry to put such a well performed animal in this thread but was watching replays for races i missed yesterday and it was hard not to notice such a poor performance..Getting on, will be interested to see how it goes at next run (and how long after yesterday it has off)

sad night at the neadows.so many dogs falling in a feature race lead up and so many pathetic efforts.
oodles rocks for the 1000th time,symmetry for the second time,the leaders in the last heat allowing dyna to win.mr metz slow out and no drive....plenty of other form mixers...shame on a night where so many 'new' people might of tuned in. did i mention all the dogs falling,or all the dogs falling. |

Samples were taken from Viva Las Vegas, winner of the event. -------------------------- looks like they vet the disappointing dog and sample the winner - pretty standard practice - i reckon the only time they sample dogs other than the winner is random prerace swabs handy to know if you are that way inclined |
