I have a very small amount in Bitcoin which has, nonetheless, suffered because of news from South Korea!

I bought in, just eight days ago, with a large investment into Ether.
That has been encouragingly on the up, but has now fallen back to, pretty much where I started!

The secret is not to panic but just hold in there because things will settle down, hopefully very soon.

I just bought more Ether through "Coinbase" and once that clears the bank authorisation, I am going to move it
to Ripple whilst the price is very low.

I have to tell you that it's pretty complex, and a minefield, trying to teach yourself!

I lost two amounts on day one!

One because my bought coins were showing on my account but were almost immediately 'snatched', I'm presuminh because of lack of security!

That I have rectified but, I lost another amount when buying through 'Bittyliscious', because I didn't understand which reference to apply to the purchase!!

I have some guidance now, through a couple of my son's work colleagues, who are in IT.

I would say forget it, till you have someone to, at least show you the basics, and only put up small amounts!

Don't leave them on an exchange and preferably not even on your computer. Exchanges get hacked or go bust and the cryptos themselves  are untraceable if the encryption key stored on your PC gets stolen.
