Clay tennis is here. Highlights this week include Bogota Slam as well as the 2nd edition of the Grand Prix Hassan.
These threads are weekly threads with just tennis talk: match talk, past, current or upcoming events in tennis etc. Spamming (including muggy politics talk) and general sports talk can be done elsewhere such as the usual megathreads, current one is called It's time for S/OT 6.

Haase probably lost on purpose from what I saw. Fixschreiber will get away eith it as usual too. So glad wasnt involved in this one, but feck this piece of scum. Hope he suffers some eternal injury when he retires for all the stolen money from the punters.

Quality Kohlschreiber today, beaten by a bloke with a world ranking #617 after winning the first set 6- and they say there is no corruption in Tennis! PMSL!

Think Kohl is 35 this year, some players just get to a certain point of their careers and mentally check out.

Mid 30's and playing a lowly 250 even in the desert probably just doesn't stimulate him an more or playing against someone he's never heard of before, for the Moroccan it was his slam. I'd never heard of him either.

Moroccan royalty give a bag of money each year to get their token win in for one of their barely ranked locals versus a name people have heard of. Last year it was Granollers, I forget who it was in 2016, and Haase the year before that. Those clowns don't give a shit about their reputation and apparently the aforementioned thugs don't go around telling everyone and their mom so there's not a whole lot of irregularities and so doesn't seem to get flagged up

King of midgets Kyrgios tank completed. From set up, bp in second, barely losing a point on serve and attacking most of the half retired Servebot Karlo, to lose in 3, facng bps in every serve agme and unable to return... He will be in time in Monte Carlo it seems to get another pay check without working.

Sock just busted a load at 1.06. Clowning around with single break up in decider instead of trying to win and finnish a tennis match properly. Had multiple chances to put more pressure for a double break. No wonder Fed & Co are still on top against this generation of clowns.
