a good week here and in Rome and his odds will come in,  he's got rid of his whole coaching staff to get himself going again as "shock therapy".

Wouldn't surprise me, but I'm on Stan the slam at 16. Traders dream that price.
Report n88uk May 12, 2017 6:47 PM BST
Tomorrow is a big match for this. If he can't beat Nadal here on historically Nadal's far worst clay surface then it's hard to see how he will do it at RG. And Djokovic's confidence/where he is with his game already seems brittle, if he's handed a beatdown, hard to see him recovering to turn it around for RG.

I don't really know what's going on with Djokovic, it is weird, how his game has just gone massively downhill. This time last year there was literally zero chinks in his armour, in recent times there seems to be added chinks every week. And just what is going on with him off the court is bizarre too.
Report Help2 May 12, 2017 8:11 PM BST
It depends on his match against Nadal on saturday.. From my point of view Nadal is the favorit, but he have not met Djokovic,Murray or Federer in either Barcelona or Monte carlo.. the real test is against Djokovic tomorrow.. an early french open final here in Madrid? But it will be a close match, no doubt about it.
Report n88uk May 12, 2017 10:03 PM BST
Madrid surface is very different to RG though. This is much more important for Djokovic to win than Nadal imo. If Djokovic can't beat him here, he's unlikely to beat him on any clay, Nadal traditionally always struggled the most in Madrid.
Report dlarssonf May 13, 2017 9:01 AM BST
Other thing is RG is the best of five , Djokovic is not playing well enough to beat Rafa in a best of five , no matter what form Rafa is in you have to be on top of your game the whole match to beat Rafa over 5 at the french
Report scandanavian_haven May 13, 2017 3:33 PM BST
on evidence so far, it's a Nadal train to the French open.
Report The Bhoys May 13, 2017 3:35 PM BST
it is, be lucky to get 2.5 after this tourny
Report scandanavian_haven May 13, 2017 3:56 PM BST
Djokovic just seems gone at the game, glad I've seen this match

What about wawa? seems a decent shout IMO
Report Platini May 13, 2017 4:59 PM BST
I'm all over Wawa. 16/1 is a helluva price. Should be a great trade.

Not quite as good as my Wimbledon trade, but should be easy to get decent green position.
Report The Bhoys May 13, 2017 5:03 PM BST
what sort of money u putting on at 16s?
Report Platini May 13, 2017 5:13 PM BST
a ton at 16/1 on Wawa for the French

and I've got £200 on Raonic at 16/1 for Wimbledon (trade of the season IMO)
Report The Bhoys May 13, 2017 5:16 PM BST
yea milos will be dangerous on grass serve wise but he dont move well enough
Report Platini May 13, 2017 5:22 PM BST
He's improving every season, and getting to the final last year was a major break through for him.
There are very few players that can live with him on grass and I've a feeling his biggest threat (Murray) will have a poor tournament - all is not well with Sir Andy right now.
Report The Bhoys May 13, 2017 5:26 PM BST
on current form federer is the man on grass i think, hes beating nadal on hardcourt comefortably, graass will be easier again
Report Platini May 13, 2017 5:40 PM BST
Federer is the fly in the ointment. If his absence from the clay court season is a deliberate attempt to save himself for Wimbledon, then he could be very dangerous.
But right now, I think he's terrible value at 3/1 or something ridiculous.
Report Platini May 13, 2017 5:42 PM BST
Nadal won't be a factor at Wimbledon. Would love to be wrong about that but I don't see him surviving the first week.
Report Platini May 16, 2017 1:59 PM BST
Sneaky and shrewd Fed misses clay season completely  Laugh
Report dlarssonf May 16, 2017 3:48 PM BST
coward more like
Report Platini May 17, 2017 11:41 PM BST
he probably doesn't want to ruin some of the gains he made in his head2head with Rafa recently.
Report The Bhoys May 18, 2017 8:38 PM BST
is the us open a quick or slower hard court?
Report wisewords May 18, 2017 8:48 PM BST
compared to what The Bhoys?
Report wisewords May 18, 2017 8:48 PM BST
from what I remember the US Open is traditionally faster than the Aus Open, but in 2017 the Aus Open was played on a faster hard court.
Report The Bhoys May 18, 2017 8:56 PM BST
If its no slower than aus nadal aint beating fed on it
Report wisewords May 18, 2017 9:12 PM BST
Slower court is better for Nadal isn't it?
Report The Bhoys May 18, 2017 9:18 PM BST
yea so if its not slower hes fu cked
Report dlarssonf May 19, 2017 8:28 AM BST
He was up a break on in the fifth set this year on the fastest court of the year in Aus , so I hardly think he is fu cked
Report leefee May 19, 2017 11:04 AM BST
Kontaveit playing great..... .can she seriously trouble Halep today?
Report leefee May 19, 2017 11:15 AM BST
Wrong thread ffs
Report The Bhoys May 19, 2017 9:56 PM BST
But he was smashed again on another hardcourt by fed soon after
Report dlarssonf May 20, 2017 8:33 AM BST
so its not like Nadal hasn't beaten him on hardcourts
Report The Bhoys May 20, 2017 9:33 AM BST
yes i agree and i didnt see fed beating him in aus, but he aint breaking down the backhand like he once did so i make federer favourite at both wimbeldon and us if they meet
Report dlarssonf May 20, 2017 10:45 AM BST
Yeah fair enough he would be fav I don't disagree , I disagree with he would be fu cked Wink

" I'm on Stan the slam at 16. Traders dream that price."

the dream lives onn, into 7/1, and only Murray to beat to get to final Cool
Report tobermory June 7, 2017 6:43 PM BST
good call . though didn't Murray thrash him here a year ago
Report Platini June 7, 2017 11:31 PM BST
Tobe, I'm pretty confident Stan will beat him.  Murray did beat him here in the SF last year but thats the only time he's beaten him on clay.
Murray was in fine form at the time. Big difference now - he's playing nowhere near his No.1 ranking form.

I've taken some green on Stan but I'm gonna let most of it ride until the final.
I've also had a chunk on Nadal now at 8/15 to ensure a reasonable profit in the final, assuming he beats Thiem (which I expect him to).
