for record to be broken we need a century break at a average rate of 1 in 8.86 frames and for the over 80.5 market it needs 1 every 9.57 frames.
at the moment we are averaging 1 every 9.45 frames
based on these figures and with 2 of the games big hitters gone in selby/murphy im lumping on the unders market

record to go needs 1 in every 8.10 games ( not 8.86 games as posted above as i miscalculated the total number of possible tournament frames by 66 lol, this new figure is correct )
im more tempted to stick with the unders market as we are now getting close to 1/4 final stage and players getting nervous to get to 1 table set up etc can see the centurys start to dry up from tues onwards
allens hitting the ball really well, some ones going to have play well to beat him i reckon.

After a low century count on day 7 we are now averaging 1 century every 9.13 frames.
As easy as these pockets are playing I am now pretty confident we are looking at unders on the 81.5 market given that ronnies now out and come the 1/4 finals players will be feeling it a bit more.
I now reckon this will be a ding junhui v mark allen final and as well as allens playing im going for ding to win 18-10 to 18-13 and a tournament total century count of 77

Higgins match put the death knell on todays, looks unlikely now but there's no reason on these bags where 3/4 centurys won't be strubg together at some point a lot will depend on who gets through to semi finals.

dings my main concern in regards of the century count as he alone could easily pop 15 tons in on these tables if he were to go all the way
jacks a massive talent but I had the feeling that this would be a landslide win for Higgins

Couldv'e been a 100 would love to see the 90+ breaks plus Higgins won 13-1 one match plus a mug final which really you should have 5/6 in,plus there weren't many in semis would defobnitely buy again..

oh yes if the tournament started again in a week's time I would bet 80+ @ evens again
although it wouldn't take too many more for me to leave it
certainly 85+ I wouldn't be playing @ evens

Another two after you posted as well only half way through, shouldv'ev been 90 never mind 80 the standards been dire as well if Selby, ding and a few others had been in we're talking mark Williams here in final althoughlooks like the centurys are going to be ok..
