The Elite are merely satan's slaves.

One very thing they forget, in the words of Aerosmith's Steven Tyler, "Life's a journey - not a destination"

^ so let them enjoy what they have now, for it will all turn to dust in good time.

and to quore Our willie,

" All the world's a stage,
And all the men and women merely players;
They have their exits and their entrances,
And one man in his time plays many parts,
His acts being seven ages. At first, the infant,
Mewling and puking in the nurse's arms.
Then the whining schoolboy, with his satchel
And shining morning face, creeping like snail
Unwillingly to school. And then the lover,
Sighing like furnace, with a woeful ballad
Made to his mistress' eyebrow. Then a soldier,
Full of strange oaths and bearded like the pard,
Jealous in honour, sudden and quick in quarrel,
Seeking the bubble reputation
Even in the cannon's mouth. And then the justice,
In fair round belly with good capon lined,
With eyes severe and beard of formal cut,
Full of wise saws and modern instances;
And so he plays his part. The sixth age shifts
Into the lean and slippered pantaloon,
With spectacles on nose and pouch on side;
His youthful hose, well saved, a world too wide
For his shrunk shank, and his big manly voice,
Turning again toward childish treble, pipes
And whistles in his sound. Last scene of all,
That ends this strange eventful history,
Is second childishness and mere oblivion,
Sans teeth, sans eyes, sans taste, sans everything."

Grudging admiration for the way the UK elite control the plebs, particularly via the gutter press. "It's not our fault guv! It's the immigrants/EU/disabled/unemployed!"

Motes and beams old boy, AfD will score more than any British right-wing party has ever scored in your next election.
Report Dr Crippen July 11, 2018 5:21 PM BST
They elites don't blame the immigrants though do they, because they brought them here.

They blame us for trying to speak the truth and not taking it lying down.
Report bigpoppapump July 12, 2018 10:43 AM BST
Zac Goldsmith blames immigrants.

Son of a Billionaire, then educated at Eton.  Couldn't get more elite than Zac and perfectly happy to run a racist campaign for Mayor.
Report Dr Crippen July 12, 2018 12:27 PM BST
Zac blames immigrants for what?

Khan run a racist campaign didn't he? By exploiting the lop sided targeting of stop and search.
Report Dr Crippen July 12, 2018 12:35 PM BST
Didn't Goldsmith simply point out Khan's background with regard to the dubious characters he'd been  associating with?
There was no mention of race.

first things first: is Goldsmith an "elite"  ?
Report bigpoppapump July 12, 2018 1:44 PM BST
and second things second:  here he is on his own constituency web site blaming immigrants for "threatening our social fabric"  and later on he blames them for "stretching our public services"

unless you can convince your audience that Zac Goldsmith isn't a member of the "elite"  (and obviously you cannot) then you'll have to concede - as I've shown - that one of the elite is happy to blame immigrants.

Of course, you wont concede this.  you'll shift on to a different topic.
Report lfc1971 July 12, 2018 4:27 PM BST
There is nothing racist about wanting to stop immigration , it’s common sense
Report lfc1971 July 12, 2018 4:28 PM BST
But those in power , the elite , call them what you wish ,refuse to do that
Report lfc1971 July 12, 2018 4:33 PM BST
not sure what point bigpop is trying to make
Report bigpoppapump July 12, 2018 4:35 PM BST
it's very simple.

Crippen said the "elites" don't blame immigration for problems because they (the elites) want immigration.

I demonstrated a member of the elite (ZG) blaming immigration for problems.

Crippen hasn't responded.
Report lfc1971 July 12, 2018 4:38 PM BST
Well I think the evidence is overwhelming that crippen is right
Report lfc1971 July 12, 2018 4:40 PM BST
certainly the point you made is neither here nor there so maybe that’s why
Report bigpoppapump July 12, 2018 4:42 PM BST
the point I've demonstrated (that Goldsmith is a member of the elite and on the anti-immigration side of the conversation) shows this:

The use of the term "elites" as a pejorative terms to discredit people on the other side of a debate doesn't stand up to much scrutiny as their are members of the so called elite on both sides.

assume that's your cue to go off on a million irrelevant tangents as you shift your way towards a different idea (this one proving either too complex or nuanced for your mind).

over to you...
Report bigpoppapump July 12, 2018 4:42 PM BST
*there are
Report lfc1971 July 12, 2018 4:44 PM BST
Well it’s like this , when those in power ( the elite if you wish ) stop immigration to Britain then that’s fine.
You might have a point , until that happens you don’t
Report lfc1971 July 12, 2018 4:49 PM BST
Are we still on track , or is that too subtle for you ?
Report InsiderTrader July 12, 2018 5:09 PM BST
Zac Goldsmith is hardly a member of the establishment. He has enough independent wealth to not be controlled to the elites. He does not need to be politically correct and be nice to special interest groups in order to keep 'power'.
