Excited agree!!

Integrity concerns.

If they all win like the other week at Perth what have they had?
If they all lose what haven't they had and who's laid them?
If he needs to run so many horses in the UK maybe he has too many horses.
Would love to know if the milkshake testing machine is at Bangor today.

Nightmare for punters imo,,,

Them 2 evens shots were begging to be laid

The 5.00 is his last chance to get his expenses back. I am sure the Bangor air is not that great that he brought all them oarsies over just to sample it!!
Report TheFear October 11, 2018 4:51 PM BST
one more fav at ayr to come too, maybe his will prefer the scotch air
Report Slicer October 11, 2018 4:54 PM BST
BUT- 4 other Irish trained horses in that race. I guess at least one of them will be trying to win!
Report themightymac October 11, 2018 4:59 PM BST
Only bet them when they are strong on here.
Report TheFear October 11, 2018 5:01 PM BST

I`m giving this one the cold shoulder Crazy
Report themightymac October 11, 2018 5:03 PM BST
CUBOMANIA 5.15 looks the one to bet, provided there is no late drift.
Report themightymac October 11, 2018 5:05 PM BST
2.25 books - 2.54 here.

That is the closest to parity on his runners all day.

When I saw the thread title, thought this was going to be about Gordon Brown, was gonna say, a bit harsh, them fields aren't easy today.
Report themightymac October 11, 2018 5:26 PM BST
I thought that too george tbh. Mind you, the last winner Big Gordon tipped was ridden by Lester Piggott.
Report TheFear October 11, 2018 5:30 PM BST
that handicap mark just looks ridiculous now - can they not have added 20lbs on for the gordon factor and let him prove it wasnt. Rated 53 for runs 18 months ago for someone else FFS
Report foxy October 11, 2018 5:40 PM BST
The bha put on an extra card a modest turn out of 34 runners 7 of which came from Elliot’s yard ,without him making the effort to send them over we would have had just 27 runners from all the UK trainers who keep whinging on about lack of opportunities.
Report TheFear October 11, 2018 5:45 PM BST
short priced irish runners might put people off running though too, foxy. And everyone is waiting for the rain. People like Gordon and Skelton just play a numbers game taking risks with the ground. In my opinion.
Report foxy October 11, 2018 5:56 PM BST
The difference between those two is gordon wins many big races ,regarding waiting for the rain I will remind you of that comment when we get the field sizes in many many races when the winter kicks in ,kempton s two Monday meetings spring to mind.
Report foxy October 11, 2018 6:09 PM BST
The fear regarding short priced Irish runners putting people off first off all they didn’t know until yesterday’s declarations and secondly they shouldn’t be thinking that way in the first place ,Iain Jardine didn’t take that view on Sunday perhaps some of our big trainers should grow some at some stage rather than easy pickings at kempton and wincanton.
Report workrider October 11, 2018 10:09 PM BST
Poor Gordon he just can't win with TheFear, a bagful of winners and he gets it in the ear, no winners its the same....Devil
Report cloone river October 11, 2018 10:41 PM BST
So you buy a horse rated 53 on the flat for 4200 and because it is trained by Gorden Elliott it should be put up 20lbs?
Report TheFear October 12, 2018 10:30 AM BST
i think the domestic races should be for domestic horses. In Ireland, France and UK. For the better quality races (class 1 or class 2?) allow international competition. Should UK punters have to have a handle on Irish handicap form? Isn't there enough racing to keep on top of already?
Report TheFear October 12, 2018 10:33 AM BST
It is quite interesting though because one has the feeling that Irish racing is more relaxed about the odd bit of skullduggery or "shrewdness" and yet it's Irish racing that introduced new rules to try and combat non triers. I don't think there's been any non triers caught in UK this year (UK horses I mean)? So maybe Irish racing has a perception problem rather than an actual problem.
Report TheFear October 12, 2018 10:34 AM BST
I'm told Lynn Hillyer has upset a few people over there with her improved drug testing? I hope it doesn't end badly for her Sad
Report workrider October 12, 2018 11:56 AM BST
Maybe competition is masking something in you TheFear, surely horses were born to compete, that's the whole point of the game. If you had your way there would be no Arc, Melbourne etc ..
Report TheFear October 12, 2018 12:40 PM BST
you didnt read what i said workrider, i said except for class 1 and class 2. People who study form in those races could probably easily follow the foreign form.

Regarding the Melbourne Cup though i think there has been debate in oz about the amount of foreign raiders reducing betting on that race.
Report workrider October 12, 2018 3:41 PM BST
After today's results I can understand your FEAR of the Irish raiders.....Laugh

Report TheFear October 12, 2018 3:50 PM BST
how's he done it though? When he brings one along gradually like sir michael and it's still improving at 4 i'll rate him. That's not anti irish i said the same abt archie watson.
Report workrider October 12, 2018 3:53 PM BST
Ah come on now , according to you ANYONE who trains a winner is dubious ....
Report TheFear October 12, 2018 3:54 PM BST
joseph's always been high on the list. Even if he doesn't i bet he has a high turnover of horses cos it's all about galloping them hard.
Report TheFear October 12, 2018 3:56 PM BST
i think joseph probably felt he had to prove himself right from the start and that probably took him down the wrong path. Just my opinion.
