Following our last post on the 20/04/2017, our developers have continued working on technical improvements on the Exchange desktop pages.
If you find the Exchange markets are loading up more slowly than usual, have a go at a hard refresh to make sure your browser’s up-to-date.
We recommend using Google Chrome, but you can do this by following these browser-specific steps:
Google Chrome –
1. Copy and paste the following link into a new tab: chrome://help/ 2. If an update is required you should have the option to update to the newest version of Google Chrome. 3. Relaunch the browser.
Mozilla Firefox –
1. Click the menu button, click help and select About Firefox. 2. The About Firefox window will open and Firefox will begin checking for updates and downloading them automatically. 3. Relaunch the browser.
Internet Explorer –
1. Open your Internet Explorer browser. 2. Click the gear-wheel icon. 3. Click "About Internet Explorer". 4. Click "Install new versions automatically". 5. Relaunch the browser.
If you are still seeing odd behavior, please feel free to get in touch with a screenshot of the developer tools page on Google Chrome. In order to take this screenshot, make sure you are on the Betfair Exchange page and then open the developer tools in Google Chrome as follows:
- Click on the three dots at the top right hand corner of the window (for settings) - Go to 'More tools' and then 'Developer tools' - From here make sure you are on the 'Network' panel (you will notice lists flashing and updating below) - Take the screenshot and send it over!
